A soft whistle rung through the air, then a muffled crack as the glowing whip connected with the pale skin of it's victim.

"Tell me where they are boy. I'll let you go once you do."

He brought the whip down again, harder this time as the whip made a wet thump as it drew blood.

"It isn't you we want. It's them. Tell me where they are."

The blonde man shook his head barely, but it was enough for the other to see. He angrily brought the whip down again, raising his voice.

"Tell me where the Winchester's are Gabriel! You will tell me!"

This was the 100th, 200th, time they had played this game, Gabriel wasn't even sure anymore. How many times he had felt that whip, how many times his body had been carved and pealed away only to come back whole for it to start again. He didn't care though. He would not tall this demon where his friends and brother we're. He'd rather die a million times. He braced himself for what was coming next. The whip never lasted long.

Correct he was, as he felt the sharp tip of a knife carve into the largest of his left three wings. He tried to scream, but the stitches in his mouth would not allow that. He felt the blade carve and slice out different pieces of his wings, the only thing stopping them from fighting off the attack were the holy chains that were roughly shoved through each wing, and bolted to the floor.

The demon was growing more and more frustrated by the moment, and as his frustration grew, so did his bravery as he carved away feathers and muscle of all six wings. Gabriel was on the verge of passing out again when suddenly the pain stopped. Gabriel attempted to turn his head to see what the plan was, but the collar chained around his neck keeping his head to the floor didn't allow it.

He was growing more and more scared when suddenly, he felt a familiar sensation of fingers gentaly running through his feathers.

"Gabriel....I found you...I finally found you..."

The angels head shot up as he heard Sam's voice for what felt like the first time in forever. He let out a small whimper an turned his head as far as it would go, catching a glimpse of the man behind him. The feeling of safety sweat over him as Sam continued running his fingers over the uninjured feathers and into Gabriel's hair. He pressed into the tough as much as he could.

"You left me Gabriel...you just disappeared. We looked everywhere for you. But you didn't want to be found..."

Gabriel shook his head violently, trying to contradict his words.

Sam only chuckled darkly and tightened his grip on Gabriel's blood matted hair.

"You left me Gabriel. Do you know how bad you hurt me?"

Sam walked in front of the angel, holding the same knife that had been used on him. He brought it to his throat and pressed hard. Gabriel shook his head violently, trying to stop him. His muffled screams filled the room and his tears fell fast and hot down his cheeks.

"This is your fault Gabriel."

Sam pulled the knife and effectively slit his own throat, his body falling in front of the screaming angel. Gabriel tried to move closer to Sam, his wings and body fighting the chains, but yo no avail. He laid his head down in defeat, Sam's blood pooling around and under the angels body.

A dark laugh filled the room as Sam stood up, his neck still bleeding. Gabriel flinched away from him, confusion in his eyes as Sam picked up the whip, tossing it aside, clearly having a different idea in mind.

"You stupid pathetic excuse for an angel. Look at you! Tied up and crying over little old me. You miss me Gabriel? You miss your little Sammy? Well how bout we fix that?"

Gabriel didn't know what was going to happen, but he struggled harder than he had in a long time, only leading Sam to laugh louder. He felt his remaining tattered excuse for clothes being torn off of him, leaving him cold and exposed. The next few moments all happened in what seemed like slow motion.

The drop of sams clothes on to the floor, the man leaning down behind him, and them the white hot seiring pain as Sam forced himself inside of the angel. Gabriel couldn't even scream from everything he felt. Sam began forcing himself in and out of the angel. He could feel his mind and soul breaking more and more with every movement of the man behind him. finally after what felt like centries, Sam finished, filling Gabriel with his seed and pulled out, walking to the front of the angel with an almost innocent smile.

Gabriel saw two things. Sam's eyes are black, and he didn't have his anti possession tattoo. This isn't Sam was the last thought to go through his head before he passed out.

When he woke, it was to Sam running his fingers through his wings again, and Gabriel soon realized what thus was. They had gotten creative again. This would be his torture from now on. And he knew he was going to be broken.

He felt a pain like never before as he watched Sam sit in front of him, instead of carving Gabriel up, he carved himself, making him watch.

He screamed and shook as he watched the man die over and over each time slower than the last.

_______________________________

Sam shot up in bed, a pain unlike any other running through his body. He screamed and screamed, his body shaking. Dean and Castiel burst through the door staring for a moment.

"Sammy!"
Dean rushed to his brothers side, trying to hold him down, unsure of what was happening.

"Cass help me!" Dean barked out. Castiel just stared at the scene in confusion.

"I do not understand. This should not be possible."

Dean looked at the angel and his brother.

"Cass what the hell?! Help me!"

Castiel nodded and exited the room, coming back with a towel and a small object that Dean didn't recognize. He places the folded towel in Sam's mouth, and the object in his hands. Almost immediately, Sam stopped shaking and his screams fell to soft whimpers.

Dean released him and looked at Cass.

"What the hell Cass?"

Castiel had a look of pure confusion on his face, his eyes trailing to Gabriel's uand print on Sam's bare chest. It was pulling a soft blue glow.

"Impossible. Dean. Look at the mark."

Dean's eyes landed on the hand print as well, confusion bon his face.

"Cass what is that? And what did you give Sam?"

Castiel moved Sam's hand, revealing a small cluster of feathers tied together with twine. The feathers we're white with gold mixed in.

"Are those from...?"

Cass nodded. "These are Gabriel's feathers. They are connected to his grace much like how Sam's soul is connected to his. If the mark was glowing like that and this calmed his pain that means that he is in such great pain that if he held onto it all any longer it would kill him, so his grace gave some to Sam."

"I don't understand. So he is alive?"

Castiel nodded, a grave look on his face.

"And being tortured."
