[A/N- Hey guys! Welcome to my new book! I hope you like it :) Also, for those of you who don’t know, the Korean name “Hyun” means “bright” or “intelligent”! Anyways, on with the chapter~!]

~~3rd POV~~

Hyun was walking home from campus, listening to music through her earbuds and completely oblivious to her surroundings. Clouds slowly started forming in the sky, darkening it as light rain began to fall. Hyun only noticed the rain when it got slightly heavier and one of the rain droplets splashed on her nose. She snapped out of her daze of obliviousness and looked up at the sky, seeing the dark grey clouds. “I should’ve brought a sweatshirt or umbrella..” She mumbles to herself as she puts her head back down. She doesn’t pick up her pace but falls back into her previous state of ignoring her surroundings, the only new thing being the raindrops falling on her.

Suddenly, raindrops stop landing on her head. Hyun gets confused and looks up to see an umbrella over her head, shielding her from the rain.

~~Your POV~~

I followed my eyes down to see the handsome face of a boy I’ve never seen before. I looked in his dark brown eyes for a few seconds with a small blush spreading across my face before I cleared my throat and looked down again. I took my earbuds out and paused my music when he started to speak. “What is a pretty girl like you doing out here walking in the rain?” He said, a light smile placing itself on his lips as he waits for my response. “I-I’m walking home.. I just got done with my classes for today and I just left campus.” I don’t know why I felt comfortable with telling him this. I don’t even know him! “College student I take it?” He asks back to me after hearing my words. “Yeah. First year’s going good so far.”

We maintained a normal conversation for a little while until he realised something. “We haven’t done proper introductions yet, have we?” He asks and scratches the back of his neck with a nervous laugh. Ahhh he’s so cuteee! Hyun oh my god shut up! “I guess we haven’t.” I say back to him with an awkward smile of my own. “Well pretty lady, I’m Lee Minho, but you can call me oppa.” He winked at me with a small smile on his face while he that and I started blushing slightly. “Well Minho-ssi, my name is Kim Hyun!” I answer back to him as a big smile worked its way up onto my face.

I could see a light red hue on his cheeks. “Oh crap, wait!” I yell, startling the poor boy walking next to me as I look down at my phone in my hand. The time showed “2:41 pm” and also a bunch of missed calls from Seokjin in the notification bar. “Oh no..I’m in so much troubleee!” I whine as I look back up and pout at Minho. “Why? What’s wrong?” He asks back to me with genuine concern in his voice. “I’m running late and now my brother is probably worried sick.” I say and show him the notification bar on my screen; ‘58 missed calls from Jinnie💙’ He chuckles slightly at what he sees and pushes my phone down away from his face. “Over-protective older brother?” The sudden question had me slightly startled. “Y-yeah. How’d you know?”

“Lucky guess?” He says with a goofy grin on his face. “Well I gotta go. Maybe I’ll see you later Minho-ssi?” I say to him with a smile played upon my lips. “Yeah, totally! Could I have your number actually? It would make things easier.” He asks me which all I do is nod and we exchange our phones to put in our own numbers. After this we give each other our phones back and by this time the rain had lightened up so it was more bearable to walk home in. “Bye Minho-ssi!” I say as I head away from him and back home. I heard him yell “Bye Hyun-ah! See you soon!” as I walked away.

~~~Time Skip to Your House; Your POV~~~
As soon as I walk through the door I’m tackled into a hug by a taller figure. Judging by the comforting scent, I know exactly who it is. “Hi Jin-oppa” I say in a calm tone which was slightly muffled by his broad shoulder. Instead of greeting me back, he instantly starts bombarding me with questions along the lines of ‘Where were you?’ ‘What took so long?’ ‘Why aren’t you soaking wet from the rain?’, excetera, excetera. “Oppa calm down. I was walking home from campus, I met someone  and we lost track of time in a conversation, and that someone shared his umbrella with me.” I explained the most important details to him like it was nothing, because it really wasn't. “‘His’?” Jin pulls back and says this while putting his hands on my shoulders, looking at me in the eyes, hoping I was lying. “Yeah? He’s a really nice boy.” Okay.. I regret saying that. “I’ll have to see that for myself before I trust that judgement.”
