I wake up at seven in the morning to dead silence throughout the house. “Jin must’ve already left..” I say to myself as I stretch my body, my limbs emitting popping and cracking noises as they move for the first time in ten hours. I look at my phone to see a notification displayed on the screen from a group chat; ‘18 new messages from Baby Kim and her 7 Princes’ I giggle at the name and look over the messages.

After I change my clothes I grab my phone from my bed and walk out of my room and down the stairs to the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen I noticed a note on the counter, presumably from Jin.
Note: Hey Hyun, morning! I had to leave the house early this morning, but I hope you have a good day and classes go smoothly. A little birdie also told me you were gonna meet a friend after your classes end so don’t worry, you won’t have to tell me later. I smile at the cute letter my brother left for me before I walk over to the cupboards and grab a box of cereal since I was feeling a little lazy today. I put my cereal into a bowl and sit down at the table to eat it.

I walk onto the college campus with my backpack slung over my shoulder and my phone in hand, as I had just got off the phone with mom who is in America with dad and just wanted to check up on me. As I walk to the chemistry lecture hall I hear some other attendees here whispering about me as I walk by them. My eyebrows furrow in confusion as I side glance at people as they stare at me and talk about me to their friends.
