He was standing in the middle of the dance floor looking a little bit lost as he swayed slightly to to music that was playing. Partys were never really his thing since he was embarrassed to dance. Yes, he wasn't the best dancer but it always looked so cute when he got carried away, feeling himself. Some nights he just didn't care what other people thought about him. This time it sure wasn't a night like that. He looked uncomfortable between all those dancing people.

I missed him to be honest, I missed him so so much. But we decided to take a break, first and foremost because I had to grow, be on my own a bit but also because it would be hard keeping our relationship alive during all the promotion for my album and especially during my world tour. It isn't that easy when you're hundred of miles apart. But I really missed him. Why couldn't everything be just a bit easier for once.

She was sitting alone on the table. Her curves hugged in a red and withe squared crop top and loose blue high waisted pants. Like always she looked stunning, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She didn't look like the Katy I knew though. She looked a bit depressed and sad and I would be lying if I didn't feel that way too. The last few months without her were hard. Nothing seemed to be working when she wasn't by my side.

I decided to walk to her table, catch up with her a little since we decided to still be friends. I hoped that after her tour we would give our love another chance. I honestly couldn't live without her, she means way too much to me. I couldn't just let her go.

"Hey" I said and smiled when she stood up to shake my hand. I however pulled her into a hug. "Hey" she mumbled as she pulled away a short time after. I knew she felt just as awkward as I did. I wanted our hug to last longer, I didn't want to let go but I had to. It was not the right time now, although I wanted it to be.

"How have you been?" I asked, resting my hands in the pockets of my jeans, since I didn't know what to do with them. "I've been good. What about you?" I knew immediately that she was lying. The look on her face gave it right away. "I'm okay, been better."

"Well to be honest me too." She said looking at her feet while she picked at her nails that were painted in a scarlet red color. "Everything's just a bit hard right now but don't worry about it. I'm okay."

"Do you want to get out of here? Go to my place and watch some movies" I heard Lando say, looking at me. We've been sitting at a table a bit more far away from the dance floor for quite some time now, just watching all these young people dancing, now and then talking about some random topics. I think we both were getting a bit to old for partying.

" I'd love to." I said grabbing his hand saying goodbye to everyone.

We walked towards his car, hand in hand. I didn't even notice but then I did I pulled away although I really wanted to. It just felt natural. I looked over to him and saw hurt written all over his face but he tried to cover it up.

After a short walk we arrived at his car. Like always he opened the door for me wich I found unbelievably cute. He got in on the other side too and started to car.

"How's Flynn?" I asked him as he began to drive. His lips forming a smile as soon as I mentioned his sons name. These two have such a strong bond and them being together is one of the most adorable things to watch. "He's really good. Last week he told me he has a girlfriend her name is Rosie." Lando chuckled slightly, then went on "they grow up so fast I don't know how. Time is going by so fast."

"I know" i sighed looking out of the window. "He misses you." he said quietly making me look over to him but his eyes were glued to the road ahead of us. "I miss him too." I managed to get out my voice cracking. I didn't want to cry right now.
