It was a chilly day in the mountains, and Keldeo was trying to keep warm. However, being a water type and all, it wasn't going too well. He was huddled up in a small, icy cave, trying to create a fire but miserably failing. Suddenly, Keldeo heard footsteps coming from outside the cave, and got into a fighting stance.

"Hello- ack!! What the hell was that?!" Someone hollered. The person had been hit with a bright blue aura sphere, he luckily dodged right in time, but still got a cut or two. "Owwwwww.. what was that for?!!" He asked, very angry.The human held a lantern with.. fire!

"I'm so sorry!" Keldeo apologized, "I thought you were a threat!"

"That's.. reasonable," he responded, "and don't worry, it's just a small scratch."

"Hold on! Let me clean the wound."

"I said i'm fine!"

"No! I'm going to clean it whether you like it or not!"Keldeo pinned the human down with one of his hooves, keeping the boy from getting up.

"Who are you anyway?" Edward asked, trying to get free.

"My names Keldeo, it's nice to meet you."

"I'm Edward Elric, nice to meet you too, I guess?"

 "Now sit still, this might hurt a little."

"No wai-"Too late. Keldeo had blasted water on the side of Edward's neck where the wound was."Ah!" Edward jolted up, "that's so cold!"

"Sorry, but at least it's clean! I guess.."

"Hey cheer up, lets use your lantern to light up this wood so we can be warm!"

"Good idea."

Edward took the glass casing off the lantern, and used the flames to light the wood.

"Boom! Warm and toasty fire! But my neck is still freezing from that water you blasted on it.

"Is it? Well.."Keldeo got up and stood next to the short boy."Uh?- Ack! S-Stop it!" Ed squeaked out. Keldeo started licking the wound, thinking the warmth from his own tongue would warm him up. But Edward was.. giggling??

"What's so funny?"

"I-it's not funny- ngh! Not only are you making the wound dirty again but that tickles like hell! PleasE sTOP," Ed's voice hitched.

"Oh sorry.."Keldeo turned away, and once Edward saw his sad face, he instantly felt bad. Ed reached his hand out and started stroking the pokémons blue hair. Keldeo leaned in towards the touch, and felt much better.

"Do you like that?" Ed's smile was growing again on his face.Keldeo nodded, snuggled close to Edward, and fell into a deep slumber.
