~CHAPTER 8~

I stood up, quite quickly, from the sofa. Staring in shock at George; I didn't have any words. All that semt to come out my mouth was.

"I... wait? What... I... I..." That sentence repeated about five times before I sat back down next to George, in utter silence.
"I've known you for a few months, George." I finally released the sentence. Then looked over at him.

"It doesn't matter if you don't want one. I just wanted to know?" He smiled at me and held my hand.

"I-" I started but got interrupted by a noise.

*knock knock knock*

"One sec, doll. Lemme go get that." George stood up and released my hand.

He opened the door to see Dawn.

"Ello, sugar." George pulled a large smile to the girl in the door. Who I didn't recognise at first.

"Can I come in for a second?" She questioned to him.

"Sure. Did you need anythin'?" He stepped a big to the side and let her enter.

Dawn must have spotted me out the corner of her eye, because she instantly turned and shouted.

"Julia!" Then she ran over to me who was sat watching her, confused, but happy to see her again.

She jumped on me and drew me into a hug.

"Who's here at this time, George." John shouted from the top of the stairs.

I understood what he meant, as it was like a bit past one at night!

"Dawn." George shouted back. Still stood in the door way.

You could here him begin walking down the stairs, because they were really creaky wooden shit.

"Oh, is John here?" She let go of me in sheer excitement, smiled back at me then stood stationary at the bottom of the stairs looking for John's appearance.

George finally decided to shut the door. He toddled to the kitchen and brought back out a pack of cheese and onion crisps. He walked over to me and sat almost on top of me. His excuse was...

"I slipped."

I laughed and pressed my lips against his.

Dawn was still waiting for John.

"John where are you?" I shouted from the sette.

"I'm coming. Calm down. A man can't really walk down the stairs after he's twisted his ankle from walking to the top of them. Can he?" Was the reply he gave. You could hear him begin giggling a little.

---

Dawn stayed the night as she said she was going to leave at five. But John told her there was no point. Which sounded quite relatable.

---

The next morning, Dawn had told us about a surprise and we couldn't wait to see Richard's reaction, to it.

"I can't wait. When are you going to do it?" I asked excitedly, to the situation.

"I chose today as it was when me and Ring are going for a walk in the grotto."

George smiled.

"Please tell us what happens please, and his reaction?" John pleaded.

"You can come along if you want? Make it look a bit more realistic." She laughed.

"Are you sure?" George questioned a bit confused at the time.

"Yeah. Sure. We'll go now. C'mon."

---

We got back to Dawn's. We were waiting only a few seconds before Ringo shot out.

"Are you ready to go Dawn?" His face suddenly turned confused.

"Yeah."

"Why is everyone here?"

"I thought I'd bring them. If that's okay with you?"

"Paul?"

"Don't know him."

"Fair enough."

---

When we got to the grotto we walked around for a while. Dawn showing us everything, as she had already been here so many times. Ritchie taking some photos. George holding my hand, tightly. John was just traipsing slowly behind us all, kicking the pepples on the floor.

"Ringo?" Dawn questioned toward the oldest BeaTle.

"Yeah, darling?" He turned round holding his camera.

"Nothing, forgot what I was going to say." She began an awkward laugh, then turned to me.

"Oh." He laughed alongside with Dawn.

Dawn came over to me, then sighed.

"I can't, Julia. What if he doesn't like it?" She questioned, a small line of tears dropped down her face.

"You can do it, I'm here for you, darling." I hugged her and released.

She nodded.

"Ringo?" She got down on one knee as he turned.

"What?" He said flabbergasted.

"Will you marry me?"
