-"The meal at this place is always plain and cold. Do they even care about the people here?" I mumbled to myself while pickling the cold mashed potatoes with a fork. I want to see what's my buddy, Rice, is up to. Poking my eye into the small peeking hole. "Ah,!". Rice's still in his usual spot, under a pair of wings scribbled onto the concrete wall. He might be inside his "dream world" right now, lucky bastard.

Elliot's face is expressionless, staring straight into the crooked bed in front of him. His eyes are dull grey, tears are being held back inside. I want to talk to him. Snatching a piece of paper which are being scribbled over with gibberish sentences, I held up a black crayon and begin to write onto the brightly colored sentences. The sentences read:"I heard you screaming last time, are you okay? are you okay are you okay are you okay?". Several "Are you okay" being written over and over again. I wrote to the edge of the paper. Ah, everything just became blurry, the sentences, my thoughts.

-"Ehaha". Did I just chuckle? Why? Stop!.

My palms feel numb, they're in pain. Smacking onto the concrete walls, my palms, red, RED, RED! Red is a nice color. It describes me, my anger, my sadness, my happiness. Red, red, red, red, red. End it all, Red.

 Gasps!

-"He's in serious conditions, his mental health is getting worse."

-"He banged his head onto the wall for roughly 20 minutes until screams were heard."

I heard them. They're talking about me! They're giving me attention! I reached out for the cords connected to the heart-beat checking device. Snaps! I pulled them out of my chest, standing up grinning at the people. I see their expression. Fear, horrified, but not... worried.

-"They don't care about you, Corn." A familiar voice spoke up,

-"Ah? Why! They've brought me here!" I questioned.

-"It's their job, that's why.".

Ah-..., AH.., AH! I can't breath, I can't breath! Help. Help me! Reaching out to them, asking for help? Pathetic, pathetic! You're weak, Kyle. You're weak.

-"Please stop, I'm not an attention whore. Please stop, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. I didn't mean to say those. I don't want to be depressed anymore so you'll love me again! I promise to be happy! I promise!"

...

-"Fuck! It's worst than we expected!" One of the staff cursed, while the others holding me down onto the hospital bed.

-"His heartbeat rate is going insane!". Seems like they attached those uncomfortable cords back on me. Ah, I want to sleep.

-"Goodnight."

-"I want to meet Rice again." I whispered inside my head. I can feel the warm sunlight shining on my skin. Shadows of trees emitting down onto the grass I'm laying on. Chirping birds are like music to my ears. Can you see it? Can you hear it? Can you feel it?

-"Wake up." The voice spoke up again,

-"Emily! Electric shock, now!".

I woke up again with the familiar white light on the ceiling. What happened? I asked myself.

-"Such a pity you didn't know what happened." Someone spoke up from the other side.

Looking over to the small peep hole, I can see the same dull grey eye.

-"Rice? Buddy?" I asked as I'm getting out from bed, walking towards the  peep hole.

-"It's me! Rice!" Elliot answered in a happy tone.
