"Mate It's 3'oclock, time to get up" Toby yells, banging on my bedside table. I roll over, groaning and then throw the covers on the floor before getting out of bed.

I rub my eyes and wonder to the grubby bathroom that we were lucky to of had in our dorm room. I splash my face with cold water, brush my teeth with this weird toothpaste Toby had picked up for me from the dollar store as I had said I was on a Budget and then sprayed cologne underneath my arms.

I went back into our small room, to see Toby fast asleep in his bed once again before tiptoeing around and grabbing a shirt and jeans. I reached to grab my keys from the box I threw them in time and time again and groaned, I had misplaced my keys.

"Shit" I Whisper, trying not to wake up Toby. I search around my bedroom frantically, looking in draws and inside my laundry basket and cake up with nothing.

"Your keys are on top of the fridge" Toby yawns, before pulling the covers over his head. I responded with a "thanks mate" as he told me to "shut up and let me sleep". I slipped my feet into my shoes and closed our dorm door before tiptoeing to the dorm exit.

As I pushed open the huge glass doors, I was welcomed by the darkness of the night, the dorms all had curtains shut, the campus lights that went off at 12 were dull and the only visible light was of the road that you could only see a bit of as big fern trees blocked the view.
I made my way to where my car was parked, beside one of the Yellow town buses which every young student used to get into town.
I pressed the unlock and watched as my old Honda's headlights lit up and the familiar clicking sound played.

I jump into the car, turning on the engine and strapping my seatbelt in place. I carefully reversed and drove out onto the main road.

Letting out a yawn, i turn off the road to the Starbucks drive through and order a plain black coffee.

- 6 hours later -

I turned off the main road, onto Ali's road. I passed huge, houses that casted shadows on the road in the morning sun. The windows were huge and the doors looked like you could fit about 10 people through them at once. It had almost made me think that Ali's parents could perhaps bribe Harvard with their expenses, but that would be cheating. It would benefit Ali immensely but everyone else would get lost and trapped in the system over someone's money.

I pulled into number 7, where there were two posh jaguars parked. I pulled my poor, grubby car up next to the white one and got out of it. I looked up at the house and I noticed that Ali's curtains were shut. I raised my eyebrows, my mind immediately thinking Ali had been studying late for Harvard's next entry date as it was unlike her to ever go out anywhere, almost like she were on house arrest and she would defiantly set her alarm to greet me on Saturday.

I knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer. Mrs Drake answered the door, a big smile on her face. "Isaacccccc! Hello my sweet boy, how are you? How's school? Good I expect?" She bombarded me with questions before giving me a hug, she waved her finger at me before saying "Ali was up till late last night, talking to you I assume? Maybe Millie, I was to groggy to listen to the voice!". My mouth opened like a fish in need of air, I was shocked, she was not a social butterfly and she loved her sleep, almost as much as she said she loved me.

"I think she's still sleeping by the looks of things, perhaps you want to go knock on the door?" Mrs Drake asks, before patting my shoulder and making her way into the kitchen to boil the kettle.

I walk up the stairs, 2 at a time until I get to her bright blue door that was covered in photos of us, beaches and the Harvard logo. I knock twice, allowing her to tell me to come in.
I hear a loud groan and something being knocked over, and then I see her face appear and a meek smile instantly form on her lips.

"Hello baby" she laughs as she wraps her arms round my neck and hugs me, I lift her up and place a kiss on her forehead, it was what we always did.

She drags me into her room before plonking herself onto her bed, I follow her in, stepping over all the mess that had made it's home on her floor. I sat on her bed, as she rested her head on my shoulder and I started telling her about my week at university and my toe incident.

"I should come watch you play again, you look incredibly sexy during a tackle" she smirked, her finger tapping my stomach as she let out a light laugh. "What can I say? I was born sexy" I reply, raising my eyebrows and giving her a kiss.

I pulled away, a faint taste of alcohol hovered in my mouth. I swallowed, it must have been from the beer I drank to celebrate the win last night with the boys. I went in for another, my hand slowly tracing her back before it landed on her jean pocket. I slipped my hand in, so we could get closer and my fingers brushed past a small piece of paper.

She hopped onto my lap which immediately made me forget about it, as I pulled her as close as could be.

I broke the kiss, attaching my lips to her neck, allowing them to trace her shoulder blade. This time she pulled away, and slid off my lap. I sat there, confused at her actions, it was never  like her to stop at this particular base.

"Did I bite to hard?" I question as awkwardness filled the air, she laughed and shook her head. "No, no I just was worried how far it will go and I don't want to go far today.." she told me quietly as her hand ran through my hair and her eyes fixed on mine.

Respecting her wishes, I put my hand into her pocket and pulled out the piece of paper, thinking that she had forgotten about it. As I gave it to her, I a phone number was written onto it. "Oh, I forgot that was in there, thanks" she says quickly before shoving the piece of paper on her bedside table. I look over, my mind wondering what on earth Ali would be doing with a random phone number in her back, Pajama pocket. It would have been normal for me to have a random number like a Friend I had met at a bar or pizza huts number, but Ali didn't even go out.  8275 628- "oh it's just my friends new number, nothin special about it, it's not like I have a secret lover or whatever-" she laughs, but her eyes don't dilate. I shrug, in my mind it was good she had met someone besides Mia and I.
