" check her out first " Eric says carrying her over to the ambulance he put her down on one if the beds they had set up and walked away as they checked her over he walked over towards Tyra and that

" guys you all okay wait were is Julie and Tim and luke and Matt "

" They were taken away they were all passed out and Julie was bleeding Tim was fine until he got over to the ambulance with Julie cause he carried her and he collapsed " Tyra said

" tami tami said she was okay they had her "

" coach they did Tim carried her out if there he got her out safe but something fell and cut her head "

" no no no this can't she has to be okay " he said

Then he remembered

" oh crap tami , I need to get her Tyra can you pick up Kai and Gracie for me and can you watch them please I need you to help cause they are due out soon " he says

" yeah sure coach where do I go Vince an drive me "

" if you go to the nursery and pick up Kai the now and the school is right next to it and you just stand and wait for Gracie to come out and then you just take them somewhere I don't know here take my keys , drive my car and just wait at the house okay " he says

" sure coach " they both say and he runs off towards tami

The paramedic had just gave her the all clear and she was siting in a chair with a blanket around her

He walked over and kissed her on the forehead then he pulled a chair across and sat in front of her

" what the hell were you thinking tami damn it I thought I was gonna lose you , you wanted to die trying to save that girl " he says and she looks him in the eye he saw worry and pain and anger all together in her eyes

" you should of let me save her Eric I could have saved her you should have let me be she died and I could've saved her you picked me up and left her "

" tami I cannot believe what you are saying the fire was so friggin close that I felt the heat , you were coughing like mad because you couldn't breathe I had to get you out , can't you realise the situation you put yourself in you would have died tami and then what would've happened Julie and Kai and Gracie would have no mum and I would lose my wife and the most important thing to me in this entire world you were gonna leave me alone I was gonna lose you I had to get you out there and at the start I told you to leave with Tyra and you wouldn't let me protect you and you put us in that situation were I needed to goddam lift you out of a burning building I had to protect you tami I was protecting you now will you just let me protect you because I need you and you wanted me to leave you to die I need you I love you I want you forever and you are angry that I saved you " he says and tears were in his eyes she could see the pain and worry in his eyes

" I'm sorry I'm sorry " she says and she reaches over and hugs him he pulls her into his lap and he hugs her tight not wanting to let go she pulled away and kissed him passionately then she pulled away

" where's the kids "

" Tyra and Vince are picking Kai and Gracie up and taking them back to the house and Julie and Tim were rushed to the hospital we need to go get her" he says she leans over and kisses him lightly then pulls away

At that point buddy garrity came rushing over

" oh god guys I'm so sorry you want me to drive you to the hospital "

" yes please " Eric says

They walk with buddy to his car and they both just climb into the back seat they needed to be close together that's all they wanted

On the car drive their hands were entwined together and her head was leaning on his shoulder

" do you understand that I can't lose you all you do all the time is tell me how your not worth it , that your not good enough , that your not strong or pretty or smart or brave and it kills me tami it kills me and I can't lose you because I think your smart and strong and brave and pretty and I think your worth it I think your more greater than you will ever understand and I know you are good enough and I love you more than anything I can't lose you " he says his voice kept breaking she smiled buddy was listening and he was grinning he never thought of coach like that before soft
