Eric was running towards it before he knew what he was doing

He saw the door was burning lying down on the floor and the room was in flames and he was gonna run the opposite way when he saw Matt near a window hitting it trying to smash it then he passed out the fire was getting closed to his body but if he ran he could get to him so that's what he did he ran over and picked up Matt just as a beam from the roof fell behind them he ran out of the room and he was running for a while around the halls until he saw tami in the art corridor the fire wasn't there yet she was with someone

" tami " he shouted coughing he had Matt slung over his shoulder she moved and he saw tinker he had a burn on his arm

" tinker here you take Matt and you leave now go out that fire exit " Eric said passing Matt to tinker who lifted him with ease and he stated moving away

Just then tami phone rang

She answered it and someone was coughing

" mrs Taylor I got Julie she was trapped and something fell and hit here so I carried her and we are in the ambulance " Tim said

Tami hung up and said "Eric they have them they are all out "

He grabbed her hand and they started moving and then he turned to leave out the fire exit and she wasn't there he turned round and started running down the hall till he saw her bent over a girl trying to calm her down

The girl was completely burnt and couldn't move at all the fire was close and he could see it coming this way

" tami come on let's go " he said and she started coughing like crazy

" I can't leave her Eric " she says the fire was so close now he could feel the heat from it

" tami we have to move "

" I can't leave her " she said and in one swift motion he had picked her up and thrown her over his shoulder he was moving towards the exit when he heard the girl scream he turned round and the flames had caught up to her and then her body went still and her eyes turned cold black and she was limp

" Eric let me go let me save her let me down " tami screamed

He knew the girl was dead

Tami was kicking him and kicking him screaming to let her down and then came the tears

He pushed open the fire exit and he carried her all the way over to the field were the paramedics were the school was closed off and the firemen were try to kill the fire

He was walking over towards Tyra and the rest of them when a paramedic came over to him
