A storm was raging outside with rain pouring down faster by the minute. The silver impala sped down the road and came to a stop when a sign became visible through the rain. "Creek Motel," The driver read aloud. "I don't know," his passenger said skeptically,"It's a little creepy..." He turned to her and responded with a convincing smile,"Well, we haven't got many options. Besides, maybe we can go ahead and get the honeymoon started." She giggled at his insinuation and kissed him on the cheek. "We should get the car looked at while we're here, it's been making that weird noise for the past ten miles," she replied. He gave her a bright smile, the one that probobly won her over in the first place. They pulled the car into the vacant parking lot and hurried to get their bags from the trunk.

The bell chimed over head as the couple walked through the doors. Both were drenched from head to two from the down pour outside. First through the door was the husband who stood at 5'9 with a lanky frame, fighting to get two identical black suit cases through the door. Next came his bride who stood at only about 5'0 with black hair down to her waist and seemed to be of Spanish descent. She held a military green jacket over her head to attempt to block out the rain as she ran through the door.

She walked past him as he wiped off the droplets of rain still on the bags and rang the silver bell that sat on the corner of the front desk. The sound from the bell echoed through the small room furnished with uncomfortable grey seats and a worn, navy rug. "Just a moment," a voice called from the back room. After setting the bags down by the chairs her husband joined her by the front desk. A sign in book sat in the middle with a few names already signed in the blanks, but there didn't seem to be any other people at the Motel.

A woman with blonde hair styled in a pixie cut wearing a light blue pencil skirt exited through the back room and stood behind the desk with a wide smile on her face. "Welcome to Creek Inn, what can I do for you?" "We need a room and to use your phone. Our car seems to be having some problems," the woman answered with a slight accent. "Of course, what do you say we get you folks settled in the couple's cabin for the night and call the mechanic tomorrow? There's no reason to call tonight, he won't be able to get through that storm any way," the woman answered gesturing to the storm through the large window. The husband and wife exchanged a look, silently debating whether or not they wanted to stay there for the night. "Do you take card?" The man asked with a smile, having decided to stay. "Yes, of course." After paying they both signed their names in the book on the desk. Derrick and Eliza Tanner. "It's cabin twelve," the woman said handing over a key. "Sleep well." She waved as the couple exited through the door and made a dash for the cabin.

That night as the woman sat in the back room painting her nails she could see the light to cabin twelve switch off from the small window above her desk. She smiled an evil grin as three figures emerged from the woods, headed straight for cabin twelve. The door was busted down and the confused screams of the newly wed couple could be heard.  The lights flickered as someone was thrown against the switch and a silhouette could be seen raising an ax into the air. With one swing the head of who she beleived to be the wife was thrown to the ground and the headless body sunk to it's knees and fell forward; joining the head on the floor. One of the figures picked up the head by the hair and threw it over his shoulder before exiting through the door. The other two picked up the bodies, throwing them over their shoulders and retreating back into the woods from which they came.

"Safe for another two nights dear," a man said from behind her. Her husband kissed her on the cheek, watching as the men slank back into the woods. "Yes, but business has been slow lately. We won't be safe for much longer," she responded. "Don't worry dear, I'll get traffic flowing again. For now let's not worry about that." She nodded her head in response and stood from her chair. "Why don't we just call the police?" The man grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around so she was facing him. "They are our sons, Kim. We can't just do that. And you know how they get when they don't get what they want..." he trailed off. "This is the only way to protect ourselves and them." She looked to floor and sighed. With a faint nod she walked past him to the shelves that lined the wall.

The both of them looked over the shelves for the cleaning supplies they needed, which didn't take long to find. Each of them slipped on yellow rubber glove. Kim retrieved a bottle of bleach and a blue bucket while the rather buff man with tattoos covering his arms retrieved rags and a mop.

They carried the supplies through the rain and over to the cabin. Blood covered the walls and lay in pools on the floor. Using the towels from the bathroom they soaked up most of the blood and spent the rest of the night scrubbing them with bleach.

"How can I help you?" The woman askes, putting a fake smile on her face. "Yes, we need a room for the night." With a bright smile holding dark intentions Kim handed over a key to the woman and her daughter passingthrough town that night. "Sleep well."
