Training

The next day, Haymitch tells us that today is the first day of training. We step into the elevator and ride down to the training area. Once all of the other tributes arrived, the head trainor told us that her name is Atala and she is the head trainor. She explains to us about training. She says," Don't hurt anyone, there will be plenty of that in the arena."

All of the tributes spread out to find the weapons they are good at. Me, I'm good at designing cakes. I head to the weight area, and the careers start to laugh at me. Katniss walkes over and tells me that they are making fun of me. I really wanted to tell her that she just pointed out the obvious, but I don't want to be rude. I decide that I should show off to the careers (and Katniss). I pick a VERY heavy weight ball, and I chuck it at the target. Back in 12 I have to lift giant bags of flour. The careers stop laughing.

I'm about to show off more but there is a fight between to other male tributes. I see a lot of tributes look at the ceiling, so I do the same. I see a girl hanging from ropes! I'm guessing that she is 12 years old. Nobody ever likes to see 12 year olds on the games. It's just sad. We continue to train until the end of the session. There are 2 more days until the games. Tomorrow, we have our private sessions we get graded on.
