Jessica felt extreme pressure on her throat and chest. Like someone was strangling her. She felt like she was slipping in and out of consciousness. Every time her eyes opened all she saw was Rafael standing over her thrusting her epi pen into her thigh. She felt guilty that she even thought it was a slight chance Rafael set her up to be killed. Once again. Her overthinking. "Babe, how are you feeling?" asked Rafael who noticed that she was having an allergic reaction when he found her falling to the floor outside the door of his safe room. "Do you remember eating anything different baby? Did you get stung by something when you were in the garden this morning? Rafael was determined to find out what caused Jessica's allergic reaction. "Water", Jessica sighed. Rafael almost tripped over his feet trying to get Jessica a glass of water. "Here you go babe", he said helping her sit up to drink the water. "No, Rafael. The water this morning. I tried a new infused water and I just remembered that I added cherries. I never went to get my fruit allergy test so I must be allergic to the cherries." Said Jessica with a sign. "Babe I told you to start taking your health more serious. I can't afford to lose you. Just relax and sip on this water while I call the doctor." Rafael demanded. "No! Baby it's not that serious I'm ok now, argued Jessica." Rafael wouldn't take no for an answer. After much pleading from Jessica and promises that she would take her health more serious Rafael called the doctor. "Yeah, ok. I understand. Of course. Yes that would be fine. I just really want some one to make sure she's ok." Rafael said as he spoke to their doctor. Unfortunately, their private doctor was out of town and had to send a replacement to see Jessica. Jessica was very fond of their doctor and loved how he was not judgmental like most doctors. So as expected, she wasn't too excited about another doctor coming. However, Rafael insisted and since she felt guilty she gave in. Front door .... front door. That was the annoying and unnecessary alarm system(according to Jessica) that Rafael installed once Jessica moved in with him. He claimed that it was for safety but Jessica thought otherwise. Rafael, though overprotective was also a little jealous. Secretly, she thought it was another way to monitor any activity throughout the house. Along with the security cameras. She never said anything though because she deeply loved Rafael and was falling so hard for him. He was truly the man of her dreams. She was thinking of the many things she could do to apologize to Rafael for her suspicions while he was opening the door for the doctor. Of course she would have to tell him. They tell eachother everything. Even when they mess up. She had already began planing out how the evening would go after the doctor left. She would light some candles, play Rafael's favorite music, and make dinner. Speaking of food Jessica took her phone out and made a reminder. New food allergy: cherries. While waiting for what seemed like forever for Rafael and the doctor to enter Jessica browsed on instagram, Twitter, and texted her mom to fill her in. And then she saw it. Rafael's text message from this morning. A recipe. For infused water. "Could he have known I am allergic?" wondered Jessica. No, she thought, he just heard me complaining about wanting new recipes. ..... how did Rafael grab a epi pen so fast? STOP IT! She told herself. No more accusations and suspicions. She got up to use the bathroom but in walked the doctor. "Hello, Jessica. I'm doctor slevatsky." Jessica nearly fainted. She suddenly had a face to match that unfamiliar voice she heard earlier in Rafael's safe room.
