Rob
I woke several times after blacking out in that forest. The warmth was the only thing I remembered feeling. It was similar to the awakening I had in my village, where I was seconds away from being shot. Perhaps I had done something similar.
Once I woke feeling a great panic inside me. I felt the urge to thrash and kill everything around me. Someone nearby stabbed a needle into my neck and I felt my body tense up until I lay back down. The liquid calmed me and forced me back to sleep.
Another time I woke, my body was felt like static. A jumble of tingles and snapping pains that spread throughout my body. The closest thing I could have compared it to was the feeling of falling asleep on my leg after lying on it awkwardly for a while. I groaned feeling the pain and tickling sensations. Every move of my limbs was ecstasy and agony.
Another time after I woke and merely sat there. I was incredibly drowsy, feeling as if any shutting of my eyes would put me back to sleep. My head ached and I was drenched in sweat. The air conditioning of the hospital room threatened to freeze me.
The door to my room slid open. I heard the loud click of the hospital door knob turn and thud against the wall adjacent.
I didn't have the strength to move my head aside. The door was well out of my peripheral vision so I couldn't see who had enter my room. All I really saw the door to my bathroom and several pieces of equipment and a blank ceiling.
A familiar face walks into view. Her smooth skin and wild curls brought warmth to my isolation.
Luciana leans over my bed to whisper words to me that I thought were incomprehensible.
My stomach turns. She's unbearably close. Was she listening for breath?
Her lips touch my forehead gently. She gives a small peck.
Her curls dangles to make a canopy over our faces from the light of a desk nearby.
I reached for words to say, anything to get her to back away a bit, but they wouldn't cross my mind. My lips aren't listen to my body. My vocals don't even seem capable to vibrate a groan of discomfort.
This had to be a vision, or real life. It felt all so surreal, but the fullness of her lips to the bounce of her curls. The sparkle of her emerald eyes made everything seem so real.
She dips her head and her lips connect to mine. Her tongue enters my mouth. The scent of vanilla reaches my nose. Luciana closes her eyes and moans deeply.
She wasn't the type to do this. I was quite sure she didn't feel anything amorous toward me.
Her embrace becomes fiercer, more passionate. She straddles on top of me as is to ride me. Her legs tense up and she's grinding against me. Her body is fit and toned, but it means nothing to me. I merely lay there, letting her tongue explore my mouth. I just waited for it to end. At least I'm able to close my eyes.
She ceases and draws back from me. The lamp light her hair kept away floods over me. I feel a chill when her hair allows the air conditioning to return as well. Her usual tough gaze turns soft as she watches me. She has something to say, but the words seem caught in her throat.
All forms of reality are melted away and I find myself floating in midair. I levitate through what seems to be space. There is nothing on all sides of me. But Luciana remains. We gravitate to where we seem to be floating next to one another. She's holding my hands in hers warmly.
"It'll all be ok, Rob," She whispers before letting go of me and floating away. I find the strength to grab at her frantically.
"Luciana! LUCIANA!" I cry out, "Don't leave me here."
