i always struggled to get out of the friend zone –
struggled to turn a friends with benefits into
a relationship
my friends had said it's because i wasn't a
serious type of girl
no, i was noted as the girl men date
to help them realize what they truly want
in life
and once they were done,
and realized i wasn't the one
they'd delete my number without
a goodbye
and i'd be the girl holding in her cries.
