History Repeats Itself

Over the course of the past few days, a.k.a the weekend, me and Jack have gotten closer. This is obviously such a bad idea I can't help it. It's just like before everything went wrong. Even before we started dating.

Just two friends having the best time of their life. Having the bad minor details like getting drunk. Which reminds me of what my mum said once which made me laugh horrendously. "Don't be hanging around the wrong people" because as far as I know I am the bad influence?

Today was Sunday. I hanged out with Jack after school on Friday. All day on Saturday and again today. Once I was ready I went into the kitchen grabbing my unfinished toast. Which I ate as I was on my way to Jacks.

I opened his door walking in I took my shoes off and made my way to his living room. "Hey Princess" Jack said while sat on his sofa. Can't boys come up with better cuter names for girls. "I'm no princess" I replied, "Why not?" He asked looking confused. "Because princess always end up marrying men they despise" I stated, "Feisty. I like it" he winked. "Shut up" I glared.

"Well you'll never guess what I got" he said getting up to go and collect something. "You know I hate surprises" I groaned, "But you'll love this one, trust me" I rolled my eyes when he mentioned 'trust me'. We may be hanging out but that doesn't mean I trust him, not yet anyways.

He came back into the room holding a disc. "The surprise is a disc" I stated I was a bit disappointed I thought it would of been better. I guess my look was obvious as he said "Don't look so sad the fun hasn't even started". He put the disk into the Wii and gave me a controller.

I was slightly confused he begged me to come over to play a bit of Wii? "Okay I need you to leave the room and cover your hears so you can't hear anything" he said, "Okayyyy" I said dragging on the 'y'. I went into his kitchen searching the cupboards for something to eat. I then looked in the fridge and found some chocolate, "Don't mind if I do" I smiled to myself.

Jack called me in a few minutes later. I walked back into the living room seeing 'Just Dance' on the screen. "YOU DIDN'T" I gasped excitedly, "YES WAY" he said repeating my actions.

Whenever we played Just Dance together we always had the tradition of dancing to One Thing by One Direction. I searched for the song and pressed play. We both went and stood in our positions, both of us on the right.

I walked in standing to the left, our hands touched and then we started dancing around each other. Our hands were reunited again making a heart with our other hands. We danced again for another small moment until our bodies were very close walking around in a circle.

I felt a spark in my stomach, like butterflies. I just ignored it, it was probably nothing. We repeated the movements with a few new dances here and there. Still having the feelings of butterflies in my stomach, which I obviously kept ignoring.

As the song got closer to finishing the completely new routine came in, however I knew the dance off by heart. I knew exactly what was coming and its my favourite part of the dance. My hand was placed on his abdomen and his hand was on mine abdomen walking around in a tight circle.

We just kept getting closer, closer and closer. Until the pace picked back up in song and it went back to being upbeat. I always smile doing this dance, I enjoy dancing so much. I love dancing, I use to do dance class but I stopped as I was receiving more homework.

The song ended with a kiss. I wasn't expecting him to kiss me but he did. It was short and sweet. None of us said anything about it, we just carried on playing Just Dance until we both collapsed of exhaustion.

By the time we caught our breath it was 7pm. "Oh shoot I better get going" I said, "Is it already that late?" He asked. "Indeed it is" I got up and put my shoes on tying my laces up. "I'll see you at school" Jack said "Maybe" I replied and off I went home.

As soon as I got home I got ready for bed after a very long productive day. I put my headphones in listening to Medicine by New Hope Club, thinking about what true feelings towards Jack are now.
