~(Y/N)'s POV~
"(Y/N)?" I hear someone say behind me. I spun around to see Garnet looking at me worriedly. "Hey Garnet..." I said wiping away my tears. Garnet frowns and sits beside me. "What's wrong?" Garnet asks putting a hand on my shoulder. I look away revealing the slap mark my father gave me. Garnet gently touches it making me wince a little, by her noticing and by her touching it. Garnet notices and with draws her hand. She grabs my chin and turn my head to look at her. I avoided eye contact "(Y/N), tell me what's wrong. I want to help" Garnet said sternly and softly at the same time. I sigh in defeat  and finally look at her. I start tearing up "my father slapped me..." I said and Garnet hugs me, letting me cry in her shoulder. "Shh, calm down" Garnet said softly. I look up at her with tears still falling. "I'm scared to go back home..." I mumbled and Garnet sighs "I'm not sure if you'll be ok but I do know that Serphina and your mother will protect you if anything does happen" Garnet said with a smile. I smile back and hug her tighter "thanks Garnet" I mumbled while trying not to hurt her with my super strength. Garnet then let's go and gets up. "I'll see you tomorrow" Garnet said while ruffling my hair making me giggle. "See you tomorrow" I said while she walked off. I sigh and get up. I watch as Garnet gets out of sight until turning around and slowly start walking back. Once I was at my front door I take a deep breathe before entering. I see Serphina asleep on the couch and I could hear mother taking a shower. I walk to the kitchen to see my father reading a newspaper. I looks up at me and glares. I glare back. I walk upstairs and into my room. I sigh and flop onto my bed with my back, making my and the pillows jump a little. I look at the ceiling. "Why do I feel so lonely? Why do I feel so...empty?" I said with a tear running down the side of my face. I sigh and close my eyes. Hoping in the morning this will all be just a memory.
