Chapter Three: The Concert

~(Y/N)'s POV~
I watch as Serphina sets everything up. "(Y/N)! Come help for people's sake!" Serphina said while struggling with a heavy box. I walk over "'people's sake'? Really?" I said while grabbing the box from her "what? I just think I should make my own catch fraze!" Serphina said climbing up a latter. I roll my eyes and set down the box. I open it to find lights microphones, and cameras. "Why do we need cameras?" I ask "for recording!" Serphina said sliding down a ladder she was on. I start getting nervous "r-recording?! Listen, Serphina, playing in front of a crowd is one thing but being on camera is another" I said "oh you'll be fine, come on! Let's hurry! It's almost time!" Serphina said grabbing two cameras and jump up the ladder step by step.
~Time Skip~
I peek out of the closed red certains to see a huge crowd of people. Even the News! I gulped and start getting nervous by the second. I soon see Steven and the ladies. I blush at the red one and I felt like I'm going to melt right here, right now. Serphina pulls me back with the biggest smile I ever saw. "Are you excited?!" Serphina said while jumping up and down with both of her hands on my shoulders "u-uh, sure...." I said and Serphina squeals. Then a man walks up to us "your on in 5" He said before walking off. I keep on getting nervous. It was soon show time. "Ready?" Serphina asks and I take a deep breathe "ready" I said and we walk out. People cheered and clapped while I shyly waved. "Hello people of Beach City!" Serphina said threw the microphone and people cheered "today I'm here with my sister, (Y/N) (L/N)!" People cheered louder and I wave with a smile. Did I mention my sister is a rockstar? Oops. "Today we'll be singing The Plagues cover by Jonathan Young and Caleb Hyles!" Serphina said and people cheered louder then ever. Honestly, I thought my ears we're gonna explode. I grab my guitar and start playing the music with the people in backstage start singing.

Everyone cheered and I blush a little before walking back into the curtains, leaving Serphina there to be adored. I walk down the stairs and the News found me. "We are here with (Y/N) (L/N), tell me (Y/N), what was it like to be on stage with your popular sister?" The News lady said and put the microphone up to my mouth. "Well, I was really nervous at first but when I started singing with my sister it was like we we're alone and nobody else was there. Honestly, because of my sister I probably wouldn't had this much fun because of my shyness" I said trying to push back my shyness. "So your saying it was all because of your sister that your on camera and maybe will become famous?" The News lady said "you make it sound like I'm selfish, but I don't use my sister for fans or popularity. Shes family and thats all I need. If I get famous then I get famous and if I don't get famous then I don't get famous. All I know is that my sister will be there for me and I will be there for her" I said and the lady sniffs and wipes away some tears. "So beautiful" she whispered and I slowly scoot away. "So where is your sister right now?" The lady asks quickly going to me again. "Last time I saw her was on stage. She might still be there" I said and they quickly go to the stage. I walk off after setting my guitar by Serphina's guitar. "Hey (Y/N)!" I hear Steven yell and I spun around to see Steven running at me with star eyes. He hugs my legs since I was taller then him. I pat his head while giggling "hey Steven" I said with a smile. Steven looks up at me "you we're amazing!" Steven said with the biggest smile he could make. "Thanks buddy" I said "oh! I want you to meet some of my friends!" Steven said and grab my hand. He drags me to the ladies "Garnet! Pearl! Amethyst!" Steven yells and they turn their attention to us. "Yes Steven?" Pearl asks "meet (Y/N)! She's the girl I wanted you to meet!" Steven said. "Really? Hello their dork! You ran past us when we wanted to meet you!" The purple lady said and I rub my neck while blushing a little. "Y-yea, s-sorry....I was sorta being chased" I said. "Really? By who?" The white lady said "n-not important..." I mumbled "anyways! (Y/N) meet Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst. Their The Crystal Gems!" Steven introduced. So their names are from gems? I thought "it's very nice to meet you" I said and they smile. "(Y/N)!!!! HELP MEEEEE!!!" Serphina yelled running from a crowd, probably her fans. I giggled "I have to go" I said and ran off. I grab Serphina's arm and put her over my shoulder. "(Y/N)!" The crowd yelled and I quickly dash off to our house. I lock the door and listened to the fans yelling and cheering. "Had fun?" Dad said and I groan "get rid of people chasing us then yea, it was fun" I said slowly catching my breathe. Dad chuckled "ok, by the way we saw you on the news (Y/N), they even record the whole concert!" Dad said and I whine "aw..." I said and Serphina giggles. "I'm going to make some toast and plug in some headphones to block the noise" Serphina said "ok" I said and went up to my room to watch some TV, and of course put the volume all the way up. They might be here all night.
