Chapter 3

The next day I woke up kind of late. I was tired. Last night is gotten almost no sleep because of the dreams. About 2 hours later I went to eat lunch. I got a salad because I wasn't very hungry, I was still nervous about swimming. I went to my table and ignored all the whispers around me. Since I was the only one at my table it was hard but I managed. After lunch, Chiron gave me my schedule. it looks like this:

8:00 am Breakfast and cabin inspection

9-10 am sword and shield with Percy Jackson ( Clarrise if Percy isn't here)

10-11 am archery with Will Solace

11am-1pm winged horseback riding with Demeter cabin (Chiron said I didn't have to since children if hades and animals didn't get along very well so this is kind if like free time for me!)

1-2 pm monster assault techniques with Annabeth

2-4 pm Lunch and free time

4-5 pm climbing walls with satyrs

5-6 pm Cabin cleanup and swimming (with Will)

6-9 pm capture the flag

9-10 pm campfire

10 pm prepare for bed (lights out by 11pm)

"So," said Will as he came up to me." When do you want to start swimming practice?" " Never" I replied. " Come on it's not bad, it's actually really fun!" " Says the son of Poseidon" I muttered. " Well, be ready 15 minutes you have to be ready or I will throw you in the lake!" "Fine, I don't have a swimsuit though.", I said. Hopefully I wouldn't have to swim."No problem, Cecily can probably lend you one" He smirked."What?" .Cecily came over. "Can I borrow a swimsuit Cecily?" I asked. "Sure! I have the perfect one for you!" She said as she dragged me to her cabin with a mischievous glint in her eye.

"Which one do you want?" she asked me, handing me a red bikini and a purple bikini. I was going to kill her later "Umm, neither" I said,"Do you have a one piece?" I asked. "Nope!" she said. "Ugh, I guess I'll use the purple one, it's so dark it's almost black so I think I'll be more comfortable with it." I said as I grabbed it and went to her bathroom to change. "Wait!" she said, "Here, wear this over it" she said as she tossed me a black romper.

I came out of the bathroom wearing what she handed me. "You look so pretty!" she said. "Thanks," I replied as I grabbed a pair of flip flops and a towel. "See you in Climbing!"

When I got to the beach I didn't see anybody. Did he forget, I thought hopefully. I took off my romper and put on some sunscreen. Then a massive wave swallowed me. I panicked and swallowed some water. "It's ok" said a voice. I opened my eyes and saw that Will was holding me. I was about to reply when my foot touched something scaly. I screamed as I realized we were in a bubble under the sea." It'll be ok as long as I can see you", said Will. About 5 minutes later I started to swim without Will's help. "You're a natural!" he said.Then something grabbed me and pulled me underwater. I couldn't breathe. I looked down and saw a Telchine. I tried to kick it as I fought to stay conscious, we were going really deep. I tried to kick it but it had a strong grip on me. Then Telchine hit my back with it's tail. I screamed and swallowed some water. Everything was blurry and I felt like I was burning. Out of nowhere Will appeared and killed it with a Shortsword. Suddenly I was in a bubble of air and my lungs weren't screaming anymore. "Are you ok?" He asked worriedly. I was about to answer him as I saw blood in the bubble. My eyes widened and I touched my back. I felt like my back was on cold fire and Will said,"From a scale of 1-10 how bad is the pain on your back?" I held up 7 fingers. "Schist!" he said. "We're far from camp and you look like you're about to die" He sighed. "I guess I'm going to have to call on my dad for help." He closed his eyes and looked like he was in some sort of trance. He suddenly opened them and said,"They'll be here any minute, you are going to be fine." It sounded like he was trying to convince himself.

I wondered who they were but I was afraid that if I opened my mouth I would scream in pain. Will, seeing the confusion on my face said," There is a Merpeople village about 5 minutes from here. Dad said that they will help." As we were getting nearer I felt weaker. Probably because I was in Poseidon's realm. When we got there the Merpeople grabbed me, blinded me (most likely because they didn't want a child of Hades to know the place inside and out) and took me into a building. They gave me a potion and I quickly fell asleep.
