When my aunt told me that she knew a few people that I could move in with, the last thing I thought was that it would be with four boys. This should be interesting.
I looked at my aunt and she smiled at me. "Carter, go on in! The guys are excited to meet you!"
"Aunt Clara, are you sure about this?" I asked nervously. She nodded.
"Of course, now get in there and meet the guys, I'm right behind you." I sighed and walked the few steps in front of the large house. As I reached up to knock on the door my aunt rolled her eyes and walked ahead of me, shoving the door open. "You all better have clothes on!" She yelled. I heard a few laughs as me and aunt Clara walked into what I assumed to be the living room.
She gave me a smile. "I'll go round the boys up. You stay here and make yourself at home, yeah?" I nodded and she walked off.
I looked around the room, it was large and painted a very light gray color. There was a big flat screen on one side of the room with a few different game consoles. I walked up to the consoles to see what they were. An Xbox, PS2, and a PS3. I smiled and looked at the different games that they had. There were a lot of shooting and zombie games, along with bunch of Mario games. I laughed to myself. At least I can hook up my Nintendo64 so I can play my old games.
They had a lot of movies as well, a lot of them I had seen like a million times. They had the a lot of Disney movies and chick flicks, which made me laugh. I stood up and continued to look around the room for a moment before I sat on one of the two couches and took out my phone.
A few minutes later I saw Aunt Clara walk into the room along with four boys. I scanned the four boys' faces and gave a small smile. My aunt took it upon herself to introduce everyone to me and me to everyone.
"Carter, this is Calum, Luke, Ashton, and Michael. Boys, this is my niece, Carter." She spoke. I waved at them awkwardly.
"Awesome, but why are you introducing us?" Calum asked confused, causing me to laugh a little.
"She's your new housemate." She told him.
"We get a girl as a housemate? Finally! This is awesome, I think you and I will be great friends. You seem like you're not very girly...do you play video games? What kind of movies do you like? Oh-" Calum was cut off by my aunt.
"Calum, let the poor girl breathe!" She laughed. Calum gave me an apologetic smile and stepped away from me. my aunt rolled her eyes and turned to me. "Do you have all of your things?" I nodded. "Alright, I gotta go help your uncle with some stuff. I'll stop by tomorrow to see how things are going. I love you see you tomorrow." I smiled and gave her a hug.
"Bye auntie, see you tomorrow. Love you too." And with that she left. I turned around once she was out of the door and smiled at the boys. "Can one of you show me where my room is and help me bring my stuff there?" I asked. Calum volunteered and grabbed three of my five bags. I followed him up the stairs and around a corner, down the long hallway and to a white painted door. Calum opened the door and walked in. I followed and he set the bags on the large bed in the corner of the room before turning to me and smiling.
"This is your room! Tada!" He exclaimed, his arms above his head. I laughed and nodded.
"Thanks." I told him before setting my other two bags on my bed.
"Do you wanna unpack or I can show you around?"
"Show me around? I don't wanna try and figure out the house on my own." I stated laughing. He nodded and grabbed my hand, pulling me out of my room.
Once we stepped out of my room Calum pointed to the door across from mine. "That's Michael's room. The once beside his is Luke's." He turned towards mine again. "The one next to you is Ashton's room and beside his is mine. There are two bathrooms up here. One here," he opened the door beside his room and then one a few doors down on the other side. "and one here. That's all there is up here."
I looked at a door and pointed to it.
"Where's that lead to?" I asked.
"Oh! That's our sound proof room, you can go in there and scream or play instruments if you wanna and nobody can hear you. Its pretty useful." I smiled and nodded.
"I might go in there a lot." I joked.
"Just remember to lock it so nobody will walk in, unless you don't care." I nodded.
He walked back downstairs and ended up in the living room. Calum showed me where the other bathroom was, the kitchen, the door to the basement, and what used to be a dining room that they changed into the game room. The game room had a pool table and an air hockey table, it pretty much looked like an arcade. I was very excited about that.
"So there you have it!" He told me as we walked back into the living room. He sat on the couch and smiled up at me.
"Thanks Calum, I'm gonna go unpack a bit now.. probably put up some posters to make it less boring in my room." He gave me a thumbs up and I turned and left to go back up the steps.
As I was about to go into my room Ashton stepped out of his and almost bumped into me.
"Oh shit, sorry, didn't see you there." He apologized.
"Don't worry about it." I told him.
"Oh, we're having pizza for dinner what kind do you like?"
"Bacon." He laughed slightly and nodded.
"Awesome. Well if you need anything I'll be in here." He told me, pointing to his room. I nodded and gave him a small smile before going into my room.
