Love at first convection... [theodd1sout X Reader]

A nice day, atleast for somebody...

I was with my animator pals at a cheese cake place. Jaiden was texting somebody, so I went up to her and asked who it was.

"Hey Jaiden, who's that?" i asked her. She looked at me and smiled.

"Oh it's Rebecca, you know, from Let Me Explain Studios?" she asked. I gasped and nodded.

"Is she coming!?" I was a big fan of Let Me Explain Studios, especially that 1M especial music video! (OOHHH BOI, YOU MUST KNOW OR I'M DISAPOINTED! BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME! anyway, back to the story!).

"Yeah, she just asked so!" Jaiden said. I.was.EXTATIC! (message something here in case you know this reference!).

"YYEEEEEEAAAAHHH!!! I'm her biggest fan!! I even watch all of her videos, same about you guys!" I said. Jaiden laughed as i was jumping up and down from excitement. As i was jumping up and down, somebody went up behind me. I looked behind and saw, the one, and only, Rebecca Parham!!!

"Hey Jaiden, who's this?" Rebecca asks. As i turn around with a big smile, she does the same. We both look at each other smiling big at each other.

"The new member of the animation group, Y/Y/C!" I said with a confident voice and smile. Rebecca squealed and hugged me super tight. I was running out of breath, but i didn't mind.

"I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!" Rebecca said as she hugged me tighter. I was happy that somebody said that, especially from her. I hugged back super tight as well.

"AND I LOVE YOURS!!" I said back. After the out-of-breath hug  I started explaining (heh. see what i did there? explaining? Let me explain studios? no? ok...)that i was a new member of the animation squad. She hugged me again while jumping up and down from happiness.

"I'm so happy about that!" She said full of joy and happiness.

When we were going to sit down i heard James ask: "So, what's your talent secondary talent?" and i said: "oh i can sing!".

I looked up and saw everybody looking at me. The anxiety kicked in. Sweaty for-head, palms sweaty. Almost tearing...

And then i heard...:

"Oh really!?!?. That's my secondary talent as-well! Why don't you sing for us?!" i looked at the person and the one speaking was Rebecca.

"You surely underestimated my power, miss Becca... but sure!" and so, that conversation, made literally THE WHOLE GROUP LOOK AT ME! Even my crush Ja-. NO Y/N, THAT IS NOT THE LEAST OF YOUR CONSERNS! Anyway, i opened my mouth... and started singing...

And then i looked at them and when they realized i was looking they knew i wanted of what they thought and they said it was awesome. But Rebecca took to a whole other level

"I LOVED IT. I THINK YOU SHOULD CONTINUE WITH YOUR SECONDARY TALENT. ORMAYBE YOUCANMAKEAMUSICVIDEO!!"

"She though the same as us..." said James with a look of disappointment. I nodded at him.

When the cheese cakes came i saw Rebecca and James share a slice of cheese cake. Just a disclaimer to myself, i always need to break something when i'm angry or jealous- WAIT. AM I JEALOUS BECAUSE OF HER!?!? I mean, sure i do have a crush on James but i still want to be friends with Rebecca! I guess Jaiden noticed and asked what's wrong.

"Jaiden, do you have something i can brake?" i asked. She seemed confused and said she had a pencil. She handed it to me and... *SNAP* i broke the pencil.

"I will buy you a new one, i promise." i said to Jaiden who seemed really confused and a bit scared of me for acting that way. I looked at James and Rebecca and they looked at me confused.

"OHHHHHHHHH! Now i know why you did that!" Jaiden said. I looked at her frightened that Jaiden would tell the group. I asked her the reason.

"Because you love him" she whispered in my ear. I looked at her and told her to not tell the group. She said that she wouldn't... but with a catch...

"If you play Kirby Star Allies with us, i won't tell them. Deal?" Jaiden asked. She was watching to see if i went along with it. With full though to it, i agreed. In the corner of my eye I saw James looking at me for some reason. That's when I realized that I had a bit of cheese cake on my cheek. I then looked at him and he was going to wipe it.

"Oh you don't need to!" i said to him. Then he grinned and asked:

"Then how about not wiping but........." James stopped. He came closer. There was silence. He then licked my cheek. I was blushing so much. Good that nobody saw that!

"What did you do that for!?!" i asked, completely embarrassed. He continued to smirk, and left. W-WTF JUST HAPPENED!?!? I NEED TO PROCESS THIS! I'M CONFUSED AF! As i was spacing out, looking out for a reason of WHY THE HECK JAMES LICKED MY CHEAK AND WHY LEFT ME THERE CONFUSED AND EMBARRESED, Jaiden came to me and asked what's wrong. I looked at her, eyes wide open and said:

"You didn't see that!?!?" i asked. She looked confused and asked what.

"What he did!" i answered. Jaiden, still confused, said she would ask him. I told her not to, and said that i would ask him why he did that and maybe everything would be fine, but Jaiden insisted and went ask James why he licked instead.

When Jaiden came back, she said James didn't know what i was talking about. BOI LITTLE DID HE KNOW I WAS RECORDING THE WHOLE THING, MAINLY BECAUSE I WANTED TO REMEMBER THIS MOMENT BUT IT BECAME MORE USEFUL TO THE UNEXPECTED. So i told her about the recording and gave her the phone and told her to give him the proof. She went to him and showed him that. I looked at his expression. They saw it as a joke. I mean sure, it was a joke but a bit gross, but whatever, a joke is a joke.
