He walked down the street, it was summer but he wore baggy, warm clothes. Sweat dripped down his neck and back. The street was busy but he felt alone. He looked around constantly seeing people point and laugh. Coldness suddenly enveloped him. It became dark. Dark and cold. He could see nothing. Just darkness. A figure came up to him. Almost glowing in the otherwise black room. The figure was of a short, kind looking woman. His mom. He felt warm. She looked at him and smiled. But then, the space grew warmer and warmer. He looked around as the room wasn't dark anymore. It was his old home. It was burning. The same flames were dancing as they did that night. All he could do was watch as the flames engulfed his mom. As he was dragged farther and farther from her by an unknown force.
HyunJi woke up with a start. His back was damp from sweat. His heart was pounding and tears had stained his cheeks. He has nightmares often but they usually are not that realistic, or about his mom. He sat there, clutching onto his bunny plush. Barely expressing any emotion, he had worn himself out of all emotions, all he felt was emptiness. He broke out of his silent trance and looked at the clock. 6 am, an hour before he normally wakes. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep now, so he got up and went to get dressed.
Today he wore a red long sleeved shirt and ripped white skinny jeans. And the same tattered converse. He went downstairs and, as always, grabbed the guitar before heading out to his normal spot. He played again but this time it was a song called Drops of Jupiter by Train. The song was written about the death of the singers mom, so HyunJi felt it fit with how he was feeling today, after that nightmare.
As always, people came and went, sometimes leaving some money, and sometimes staying longer. When he finished he bowed and thanked everyone. He grabbed the money from the ground and left to go home. Since he had woken up early Mr. Ki won't be awake. He opened the door and peeked inside. He was right Mr. Ki and MakJoon were nowhere to be seen. So he placed the guitar back where it goes and ran up to his room to get the contract. He left the house again and went to the nearest convenience store to buy some fruit to eat. He bought an apple and left. He ate it on his way to the bighit building.
When he reached the building, his anxiety started to kick up. He was about to turn around a leave until he saw Bang SiHyuk waving him in. He took a breath and walked inside.
"HyunJi! You came! I'm glad, do you have the contract?" SiHyuk said as soon as HyunJi entered.
"Yes, sir. Here it is." He said handing it to SiHyuk with both hands.
"Wonderful. Can I see you up to my office? I would like to speak with you about something."
"Uh, ok sir." HyunJi followed SiHyuk to his office and they sat at his desk.
"I would like to make you an offer. I see great potential in you and want to see if it will work with my plan. For a while now I have been watching my trainees to see if one would fit but none seemed to. Then I came across you. I want you to join BTS."A/n- 593 words.
