Eleanor's Pov.
I was trying to talk to Dad and Pa, to tell them what had happened, but the words just wouldn't come. I could only get out a few phrases, and they came in between sobs. It made me panic even more trying to explain it, I got to a point where I thought I might pass out.
I covered my mouth with the sweatshirt I had peeled off (it was painfully hot in southern Texas, especially in summer) and screamed, just to let it out. But something happened... Something bad. I felt the gold in my veins again, I felt the power leave my body in waves, and then the phone and the glass booth around me exploded. Glass shattered, sparks flew... And the only thing untouched was me and the phone in my hand that had been ripped off it's cord.
"What the fuck?!" I exclaimed, my mouth hung open as I stared around me at the damage. There was glass and metal everywhere. The booth didn't just crack, it shattered, into billions of tiny slivers.
I silently thanked the Lord (that is, if there was one) that I was alone at an empty truck stop in the middle of the desert. If someone saw the booth explode around me like that, they'd probably think I was a terrorist or something.
I began to sob again, but I was more careful. I didn't let myself lose control. After a few minutes I sensed that I wasn't alone, and I almost let myself blow them up too, but what if it was just some stranger? Come to find a bathroom on their way to a relatives house?
It wasn't, I mean, when do I ever get that lucky? But it could have been... There were people behind me, two demons. I flinched as I took in their hideous faces. One I recognized, Crowley, the one who did this to me. The other was new.
"Leave me alone." I ordered in a low voice. They each took a few steps toward me, and instead of walking back, away from them, like I wanted to, I walked forward.
"I said: Leave me alone." I repeated. I kept my voice firm, and my stare constant, despite how much their faces really scared me. My strategy worked, they stopped. There was still about ten feet between us.
"Sweet Eleanor. I am so utterly impressed by you. You have such power, such beauty..." Crowley said, baring his ugly, snarling teeth.
"What did you do to me?" I demanded.
"I only helped you to find a piece of yourself that had been locked away." He said. He said something else too, but I wasn't listening. I was too focused on the three figures that were running down the road about 100 feet from where Crowley and his side-kick stood.
One was Uncle Sammy, but the other two were unfamiliar to me. They weren't human. One was bright, impossibly so. 4 wings, each the size of semi-trucks, were sprawled out behind it. As they got closer I saw how amazing it's face was. Stern and fierce, but piercingly beautiful.
An angel... Grandma Mary said they existed, if that wasn't one then I had no idea what it could possibly be. The figure beside the bright one was dark. It's features were black and a red the color of dried blood. It was a demon, more hideous than Crowley, the king of Hell. No demon I'd seen so far had been worse than Crowley, except now this one.
Crowley droned on and on, and then the figures were upon us. The angel grabbed the side-kick, placing a hand to his head. Once the demon made contact with the angel, they were engulfed in a white light. When the light faded, the angel remained, kneeling next to a man's body. At first the angel blocked my view of the man, but once he moved I saw that where his eyes used to be were hollow, burnt sockets. It was horrifying, I wouldn't think an angel capable of such gruesome killing...
The horrible demon and Sam had Crowley trapped. Sam held Crowley's arms behind his back, and the demon that arrived with the angel and Sam held a strange knife to his throat. One I'd never seen.
"What did you do to her?! If you touched her I swear to God, Crowley. You will die a slow, agonizing death..." The demon was seething. I shouldn't have been able to hear it. Before I met Crowley, I could have only seen the thing's mouth move. But I heard it loud and clear, the gold pumping through my veins. The thing didn't want me to hear it.
I knew Crowley was a bad guy, and I wanted him dead, but the other demon scared me more. And that it was working with an angel and my uncle Sammy? That scared me the worst, maybe they didn't even know it was a demon! I clenched my fists, letting the energy flow. The pure and utter power. I felt it buzz in my finger tips, and I almost smiled as I threw that demon to the ground without moving a muscle. Crowley was also trapped in my power. Neither would move until I wanted them to.
"What the hell?!" The demon groaned, this time loud.
"No..." I whispered, I felt my eyes widen to the size of dinner plates. I lost the power, for less than a second, but in that fraction of a moment Crowley was gone. I focused again before the other demon could get away. I let it stand up. Hot tears threaten to spill over my cheeks once again, but I screamed at them. I wouldn't cry again. Not then. Not ever. Sam had panic in his eyes, and I think the two creatures did too. I was getting better at reading their expressions. Their faces were becoming clearer.
"Eleanor, easy. What did Crowley do to you?" Sam asked. His voice was soft, wary. Like he was scared.
"He- he said that he unlocked something inside me... And now I can do and see and hear so many different things. Weird things. I'm scared Sam! Beside you, on your left, is a demon. The most horrifying demon I've seen in the past few days, and it's in my Dad!" I cried, there was a catch in my voice on the word 'dad', and I had to take a moment to compose myself before I could continue. "On your right is an angel, I feel like I recognize him, but I don't know from where... I can hold the demon Sam, just get it out of Dad, please." I had to bite my lip pretty hard to keep from crying, but I succeeded. I kept my promise to myself.
"El... I can't get the demon out of Dean..." Sam replied gently. I shook my head too fast, it made me dizzy, but I didn't care.
"Why not?!" I almost shouted. Just get it out. Get it out. Sam looked pained. I began the exorcism myself, my spirits sank further and further as my words had no effect on the thing.
"Eleanor, there are a lot of things we haven't told you, lets just get in the Impala and find a motel and sit down together." The angel said. It's voice. His voice.
"Pa?!" I exclaimed, "Sam! The angel's in Pa!" I felt like my brain was going to explode. There was utter silence for about a minute, and I was in agony the whole time. I hadn't looked at the demon much, because it's face was so incredibly hideous, but I allowed myself one more peek at it. It's face had changed. It looked like it had... blood, fresh blood, running down it's cheeks. Dripping onto it's torn up clothes and staining them bright red for a few seconds, then disappearing. It was crying. The demon in my Dad was crying.
"Okay, um, you can't exorcise the demon from Dean because the demon is Dean. The angel isn't in Castiel, the angel is Castiel." Sammy finally spat out. I felt my mind frenzy for one simple second. For a single moment I felt sheer, complete panic, for the first time in my life. I have to say, I hope no one else knows what it feels like, because it was probably the worst feeling I'd ever felt. But thankfully, in the next second, my mind went blank, and I let myself fall...
