I was on my way to Lani's house when I stopped at the gas station. I was putting gas in the car and buying candy for Aniyah and Aliyah. I was choosing there favorite kinds when I seen Tyrone walk in with a group of niggas. I got scared I put the candy down and went all the way to the back. He was walking towards the drinks and I hurried and got out the store. When I was getting in my car someone grabbed my arm real tight. I turned around and it was Tyrone. He kissed my cheek and told me to open the door. I opened it and got in my car. I started it up and tried to drive away but he got in.

Sasha- WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT

Tyrone- Shut up girl you know you missed me because I missed you too.

Sasha- ain't nobody miss you get out my car Tyrone now

He laughed and got out the car. While he was walking away he put his middle finger up at me. I drove away fast. I went to the next gas station and was going there. I seen August walking out of it. I walked up to him and he was surprised to see me.

August- hey babe wat you doing here.

Sasha- the gas station is for everyone

August- Were you going

Sasha- My friend Lani house

August- oh what yall gone do.

Sasha- I don't know

Sasha- nice to meet you

Jose- You too but it seems like I seen you before

I was trying to get off the subject of him seeing me from somewhere. I knew I should've been in wigs and shit at my job. I remembered Jose you used to make it rain on me. Maybe this why August didn't want to bring me around. He didn't want to embarrass me. I probably met alot more of his friends too. I'm hoping he doesn't slip up and say it tho. It got silent and he looked me in my eyes. Now I knew he remembered me.

Jose- Nah yall right I don't

August- umm ok but I'll talk to you later baby

Sasha- ok

They walked off and I got a text from an unknown number.

Oh yea I forgot I gave him my number. Damn I hope he doesn't say anything to August. Of course we fucked. I just didn't want him to say anything because August was going to see me for what I really was. I texted back and told him don't say anything. I went into the gas station and got the candy and some gas. I was on my way to Lani's house when I drove past the church. It made me think about my grandmother and the memories we had. But now I was going to be strong for her. I went to Lani's house. When I walked in her and LiLi was cleaning up. She must have took Niyah to school already.

Lani- Hey girl

Sasha- Hey I see yall cleaning

Lani- Haha yeah

Sasha- You took Aniyah to school?

Lani- Yeah. My mama did on her way to work

Sasha- So you going in tonight

Lani- Yeah I have to. If I don't have my half of the rent my mama gone be mad.
