Run. Run. Run! I knew that's what I had to do and that at some point I'd have to face my attacker. At some point, but not now. I ran through the overgrown forest, hopping over fallen branches and unsuspecting critters. I pushed through branches and leaves, and tried to watch where I landed my feet. I could feel him gaining in on me. I could feel his filth festering behind me like a dark cloud of evil. I knew I needed to push through, I could not be allowed to get caught. So, I continued on. I looked for a way to get out of his reach.

That's when I came upon a cottage. The cottage was homely and welcoming. It was covered in vines and flowers sprouted from every crevice of the yard and house. I walked towards it, knowing that if it wasn't safe I'd be dead.

I hurriedly knocked upon the door and it creaked open. I peeked inside, not wanting to be impolite or rude because I still had a glimmer of hope that I could reside there that night. When I peeked in, no one was there. The beautiful cottage was all but abandoned, no one had lived there for what seemed like years. I opened the door and quickly slipped through. I couldn't let him find me. I gathered what I could of furniture and other big objects and put it in front of the door. I tried to stay away from the windows so that he wouldn't see me.

I must've been there for what seemed like hours when I heard his cry. He howled, knowing he couldn't find me. His ginormous head peeked through the window, for the first time, I saw my enemy. His fur as black as the night sky with no moon in sight, his eyes glowed red with power and hunger, and his head fit perfectly through the medium sized window, making his approximate height about 6 feet. He glowed with a red light, so bright, he was his own flashlight.

He looked left and right, slowly examining the entire room before he growled and said, "I must find her, she is my only weapon!" He glared and howled, "FIND HER!" In the distance, I could hear more howls. He removed his head and ran elsewhere. I took a deep breath, exhausted.

'I need to be careful, I will set up camp here tonight,' I thought to myself. I fell asleep sitting behind the desk, in the corner of the room where I originally hid. I woke up to birds chirping and the sound of a slight breeze. I crawled out of the hole I was in and thought of my next steps. I could barely make a step one before a little lamb showed up in the the room and began to bleat, as if beckoning for my accompanying her. So, naturally, I followed.

Leaving through the back end of the house, I came to a vast and giant field full of flowers. The lamb stood by me overlooking the field when a group of sheep appeared. The lamb ran full throttle to her family and I smiled. It looked like such a happy occasion, but of course, something has to ruin it.

Lightning flashed through the dark, clouded sky. The flowers all died, leaving nothing but myself, the lamb and the sheep alive. I shuddered. Watching all of this transpire, I saw that the sheep were no longer sheep, What stood where the three lambs stood, was a smaller wolf. Blood all over its face after having ate the other two sheep. The Lamb, scared to death, ran to me.

Fear flashed over me as I tried to retain my calm. 'They were just nice, safe sheep! How did I not know one was a wolf?' I thought to myself. 'How will I get out of here?' I did a 360, but nothing. The door was gone. All that I could do is run and that's what I planned to do. Instead though, the lamb became my enemy. Turning itself into a wolf and attacking me.
