Underworld: Tranquility

Chapter 2

Nightfall was taking it's time dawning upon us. I wanted to find Eve as soon as possible. I stood next to one of the windows I had not boarded up and watched the sun.

High in the sky it shined down upon everyone. Judging by how high it was in the sky, it's about noon. Michael was in the shower removing all the blood. David went to go get more blood bags before we would leave.

"Please be safe." I plead. I wanted her safe and in my arms.

I'm so lost in thought that I didn't even realize that Michael was out of the shower and holding my waist from behind me.

"I know your worried about her. If she is anything like her mother she'll be fine." Michael says kissing my shoulder.

"I hope your right." I mutter still watching the day go by. If I don't find something to distract me I think I'm going to loose it.

"I wish the sun would do down already." I say walking away from the window and his embrace. I turned and saw that he was only wearing pants.

"Selene. I need you to relax." He says pulling me back toward him. 

"I can't. If so much as a Lycan or a Vampire lays a finger on her." I threaten. Eve has been through enough.

"That's how I know you are going to be an amazing mother." He whispers against my ear.

A smirk pulls at the corner of my lips. I try my best to prevent it from spreading to the rest of my lips.

"How do you do that?" I ask as his hand slides down my arm to my waist and rubs circles on my hip bone that was covered by my leather suit.

"Do what?" He replys.

"Destracting me when I so obviously need it." I say.

"I have no idea. But I have to do it often. It seems to work effectively." He says leaning toward me.

"Yes it does." I whisper as he got closer. His nose touched mine lightly as his lips got closer to mine.

"Mmmhmm." He simple replied and captured my lips.

While holding the kiss, his hands went back up my arms, to my shoulders and removed my coat. It slide down my arms and pooled around my feet on the floor.

This hand slide up my back and unzipped my corset. It fell from my waist and hit the floor. I broke the kiss and looked at him. He looked at my zipper hanging from the front of my suit. He grabbed in and pulled it all the way down. He connected our lips once again.

I reach for his belt buckle and so began our night of passion.

I turned over and look at Michael who was already looking at me. We had just finished our love making and he still hasn't stopped looking at me.

"Why are you staring at me?" I finally ask. It wasn't bothering me. I was just genuinely curious.

"Because I'm trying to figure out if our daughter looks more you or me." He replied moving some of my hair behind my ear. I turned onto my left side and put my left hand behind my head and looked at him.

"Why be curious when you can ask me whatever you want to know?" I say.

"Good question. What's she like?"  He asks purking up a bit. I let out a deep breathe.

"Our daughter is a lot of things. She is strong, brave, and cunning. She looks out for others more than herself. She believed I would be a good mother even when I thought I wouldn't. I had no idea what to think when I found out I had a daughter. To be honest I was kind if scared. I was alone and didn't know the first thing about being a mother." I say looking down at the scrambled sheets.

"Well your not alone now. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. Based on your description I'd say she's more like you." He says smiling at me.

"No. She's more like you. She smiles a lot and she looks like you as well." I say looking at him. Then I look pass his head and out the window. The sun was going down.

"Finally." I say getting out the bed pulling the sheets with me.

"What?" Michael asks.

"The sun is going down." I say grabbing my suit from the floor with the rest of our scattered clothes.

"Let's go find our daughter."

Yes, yes, I know. This chapter was too short. I'll try to make the next one longer but I've got other stories that need my attention so enjoy.
