Underworld: Tranquility

Chapter 1

I look at myself in the mirror to still find tears in my eyes. Michael is dead. How do I coup with that. How am going to tell my daughter, who didn't get to meet her father, that he is dead.

When Michael and I first met I told myself that I shouldn't get involved. But I couldn't help myself. Soon enough after that I found myself falling in love with him.

Now I'm standing here and all I can think about is how I cant live without him.

I put my hands against my chest and felt my heart slowly beat.

After defeating Marius we decided to heal our wounded and finish this war another day. We would win the war against the Lycans and the humans. Even if I have to do it alone.

A knock at the bathroom door sends me astray from my thoughts. I look up .

"Selene, are you alright?" I hear David on the other side of the door.

I turn my head towards the door and my dark brown hair with platinum highlights bounces out of my face.

"I'll be out in a minute." I simply reply. I told him what I saw in Marius' memories. That Michael was dead. I listen to his foot steps retreat away from the door. I finally pick myself up from the ground and wipe way my tears.

There was only one thing left for me to do. And that was to go and find my daughter. I already lost Michael. I wasn't going to lose the last piece of him I still had left.

I open the door and grab my white coat. As I pulled it over my shoulders I descend the grand staircase I was fighting on no more than two hours ago. Then I see David.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"To find Eve. Marius is dead, she has no more of a reason to hide. And I have to tell her that her father is dead." I couldn't have anyone else telling her.

"Alright I'll go with you." He says.

"David, I can't ask you to leave your coven to help me find my daughter. Your needed here." I say.

"They have functioned perfectly fine without me before, they can do it until I return. You saved my life Selene. So let me help you." He says. I nod my head in acceptance.

"We leave at dawn." I say and go to find a place to rest my head for the night. Tomorrow we set off to find my daughter.

It has been two weeks since David and I left the Eastern Coven to find Eve. We have picked up small leads taking us all over the place and we still haven't found her.

We decided to settle down for the night and found an abandoned cabin. After getting my fill of a blood bag. I lay down to sleep. But before I do I bite my wrist. To recall all the time I spent with Michael. From the day we met. To the day he made love to me in that warehouse. I silently cry myself to sleep.

The next morning David and I set out on the move again, trying to stay out of sight of the humans. Jumping to each rooftop. Then my eyes could suddenly see though Eve's eyes. She was being attacked my Lycans. Then the vision disappeared.

"What's wrong?" David asks.

"Its Eve, shes being attacked by Lycans. We have to hurry. I know where she is." I jump off the roof my black coat following behind me. I decided to wear the black coat instead of the white one. My hair was already white and it stood out, didn't need my clothes to stand out too.

"She's at pier nine." We run and we dont stop til we get there.

After jumping over the gate I look up.
