River turned to both of the doctors and sighed. "Here," she took off the watch that she used to travel in time and handed it in between them. "One or both of you guys go get someone you love most dear. I'm not good at making....friends" she admitted.
"Well what are you going to do?" Eleven asked. River chuckled and smiled at him.
"I'm going to invite my parents." She said enthusiastically. Eleven's eyes got wider and his mouth dropped.
"B-but how? You saw their grave stone! How's that even possible?"
"I've got my ways." She said to her husband. "Now you two, of you go!"
"Well who are we inviting?" Ten asked impatiently. Eleven smirked and turned the watch to were he wanted it.
"You'll see when we get there. Good god I didn't realize how cranky I was when I was you." He said harshly. Ten rolled his eyes.
"Well, at least I don't wear those stupid useless bow ties." Ten said back.
"Aye,-" But it was too late to say more. Off they went, both of the doctors, to find what they are looking for.
"Ugh, children." River moaned out loud to herself. She touch the tools and gadgets of the Tardis very gently. "How do I bring my parents back?!" She told the Tardis. Just then she remembered something. "I have an extra watch in my bag!"
She turned to see her bag lying on the floor. She jogged over to it and looked for it quickly. "There you are." She said as she pulled it out of her bag and looked at it.
"Eh, you look a bit rusty." River never used this one, only in emergencies. This one is the first one she ever made and it has a few glitches in it. That's why she made the other one that is with the doctors right now.
"You're going to have to do." She turned the date on the watch to were she believed Amy and Rory might be. "Ugh come on work!" She told it. It then started to glow, River was relieved that it's actually going to work. She disappeared from the Tardis and popped back up somewhere else.
Somewhere in Scotland
River didn't land on her feet though, instead she landed on her knees and used her hands so her face wouldn't hit the concrete.
"Well that wasn't very safe now was it?!" She said to herself. She stood up and wiped off the dirt and everything else she got on her pants. She looked around to figure out where she was at, but sadly she is unfamiliar with Scotland.
"Umm excuse me." She asked a young man in a cotton candy stand. He looked over at her as he gave a little girl a pink cotton candy bag.
"Yes ma'am."
"Hi umm do you know where I can buy a phone book?" She asked, wondering if they still even have phone books anymore.
"Actually I do." The man told her. He reached under the carts and pulled one up for her. She was astonished. "I need one for my clients telephone numbers." River looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.
"But you're a....cotton candy salesman." She told him. He laughed and nodded.
"Yes I am." He told her, "but I am also an engineer." He explained and walked a little closer to River. "So if you need any help just call me." He winked at her.
"Oh no no honey." River said while pushing him back. "First off, I have a husband. Secondly, he is a very jealous type so you don't want to mess with both me and him. And thirdly, who are you?! I don't even know your name!" She said with a bit of sass in her voice. She stood up straighter and tried to calm down.
