One Last Trip (Doctor Who Fanfic)

Chapter 1 ~ The Beginning

I see another chair. It looks a bit rusty but oh well. I still struggle from the mans' grip to break free but it's not working. He feels my struggling and calls for more guards. Great. They push me into the chair. Then some metal comes out and ties down my hands, feet, and head to the chair.

"Don't worry, Doctor. It won't be that bad." The guard says with a smirk. He presses a button but nothing happens. I hear noises from the back of me and look down and the chair is glowing a kind of golden color. Then it starts hurting. Pain. Rushing through my whole body and won't stop. The pain gets strong every second.

"Is there anything you would like to say lastly before you aren't able to regenerate, Sir Doctor?" He says mocking me. The others laugh at me.

"Oh look I have a sonic screwdriver." Says another as he picks up and piece of copper and waves it around like it's a sonic screwdriver. The others laugh and pick up copper and do the same thing.

"Well, father." My daughter comes in and gives the guards a face to stop doing what they are doing. She turns back to me as she watches me in pain. I close my eyes not wanting to look at her. "What do you have to say for yourself?" I smile a sad smile, open my eyes, and look straight at her.

"Geronimo." Then it went black and I felt at peace.

I wake up in the Tardis. Don't know exactly how but I'm happy I'm back with her. I smile and stand up. "Ugh" I moan as a try to get up. "Whats this? I can't-" I sigh and fall back to the ground. I crawl to the center of the Tardis and hold myself up.

"Scan me. What happened?" I demand her. I feel little tingles across my body as she scans. It felt good and happy to know that someone..well,something cares. I look back up at the screen to see what she has to say.

"Ok, sexy, let's see here. Hmmm..... Wait, what one heart?! I thought they just took away my regeneration thing! Does that mean I'm human?" I say aloud to myself and the Tardis. I scratch the back of my head to figure out what to do. I smile and know what to do. I grab my phone and call a special someone.

"Hello, Sweetie. Haven't heard from you in a while." Oh how I love the sound of her voice.

"Hello honey. Uh, I have a slight problem." I say trying to not sound worried. Seems like it didn't work.

"Well I have you're not with some other woman if that's what's happening." I can't tell she's playing but at the same time she seems serious.

"No no no no no, babe, you're the only one for me."

"I know." She says as I hear her giggle a bit through the phone.

"Ok listen River." I say getting back to the topic. "Meet me in London as soon as you can. It is very important and I-I don't know what to do."

"On my way, Sweetie." She says as she hangs up. She gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I hear her...and my hearts-ummm heart, beats faster. I smile and get ready to go to London.

"Alright girl. Let's go figure this stuff out." And I pull the trigger. The Tardis starts shaking, back and forth and back and forth. I can't help but laugh and scream a bit because of how much fun I have with her with me. It suddenly stops in London.

I land in a quiet alley. Most likely no one would recognize her, but I don't want to take any chances. I get out of the Tardis and lock the door. I think to myself, Oh bloody hell I forgot to tell River where I was going to land.

"I'm right here, Doctor." Oops, must have said my thoughts out loud. I turn around and smile a bright smile to welcome her back into my life. God I love her. I run up to her and feel her face bury into my neck and as I do the same with her.

"I've missed you." She says.

"I've missed you too." I respond. We release the hug and hold hands. We just stare at each other until she, sadly, broke the silence that I was enjoying.

"So what's the problem?"

"Oh yea, ummm." I almost forgot about it. I open the door to the Tardis and invite her in. She climbs in with me and I tell her everything that happened.

"No, she couldn't have. She wouldn't." River says. I sigh and nod. River gives me a faint smile.

"What?" I ask her.

"Well, since you are technically 'normal' now, why don't we have a little reunion." She says to me. I smile and agree.

"But who?" There was a long silence until she whispered in my ear.

"Everybody"

I don't know how good this chapter is but tell me what you think. I know these chapters aren't that long but I work really hard on them. I don't edit it but I will when I have fre time this summer. Oh, and I just watched the 50th anniversary of doctor who.... I cried for like half an hour...
