Groaning, I turned over and sat up from my spot on the floor. Note to self, keep sleeping on the floor to a minimum. I stood up, sighing in relief as I felt my muscles pop. I looked down into the sight before me, I'd sleep on the floor for the rest of my life if I could wake up to this every morning. I knelt down besides the bed and just took the moment to observe him. His usually pale skin was slightly flush from sleep, his brown orbs were hidden beneath his eyelids. I stroke his cheek with my thumb, slowly waking him up.

"Mmmm," he mumbled, curling into himself.

"Pretty boy," I whispered, placing a soft kiss upon his forehead. "Time to wake up."

"Derek?"

"Morning, sleep head." I whispered, crawling into bed to lay down next to him. Instantly, he curled into me, burying his head into my chest.

"So it wasn't a dream?" He mumbled, twisting the frabic of my shirt in his fingers.

"What wasn't a dream, pretty boy?"

"You telling me you love me?"

"No, that a hundred percent real, and a hundred percent true."

"Yay," He whispered, reaching up and kissing my neck.

"Come on, we need to get ready for school."

"Yeah, yeah we do." He replied, neither of us making a move to get up. We laid there for a few moments, basking in the bliss of just being together. The trance was broken when my phone went off, signaling that we needed to get up soon. I groaned, reaching for it and turning it off.

"I don't have any clothes for the day." Spencer mumbled.

"Would you like to run and get some?" I suggested. "I could take you out for breakfast, if we have time."

"Mmm, that sounds nice." He said, sitting in the upright position. I sat up behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my head upon his shoulder.

"I'll go make breakfast and you can go take shower, 'kay?"

"Okay," he said, getting up and head towards the bathroom.

I was putting the bacon onto a plate when my mom came down the stairs.

"Oh! Well isn't this a nice surprise," she said kissing me on the cheek.

"G'morning, mama." I said, placing the plates onto the table.

"Where's Spencer?" She asked as she sat down at the table.

"Taking a shower, then we're going to run to his house and get him some clothes. Thanks again for letting him stay here."

"It's no problem at all, sweetie." At that moment, Spencer came down the stairs, hair wet and still wearing the clothes from last night. "Good morning, honey, did you sleep well?" My mom asked, walking over to kiss Spencer on the cheek.

"Good morning M-" My mother shot him a pointed look.

"-Fran. Good morning, Fran." He said bashfully, a blush spreading to his cheeks.

"Wanna head out now?" I asked, turning around, leaning against the counter and crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yeah, sure." He smiled.

"What? Before breakfast?" My mom piped up.

"We're going to stop and get something on the way to school."

"Okay boys, drive safe and have a good day at school."

"Bye mama," I said, kissing her on the cheek. "Love you," I said, grabbing my coat, and a second one of mine for Spencer.
