"Three blind mice, three blind mice. See how they run, see how they run. They all ran after the farmer's wife, who cut off their tales with a carving knife. Did you ever see such a thing in your life as three blind mice?" she sang as she walked through the woods, admiring the nature around her.
Her fifteen-year-old brother, Flecher, walked behind her while she hummed the tune. "Would you stop that Adra."
She turned around to face him. "Stop what?" she said.
He sighed like she should know what he was talking about, "Stop singing that creepy song."
"It's not creepy!" she protested, "It's a children's nursery rhyme."
Flecher shrugged. "Doesn't matter, you're thirteen you don't need to be singing children's songs."
Adra had a smile creep across her face. She started running while yelling, "Three blind mice! Three blind mice!"
Flecher chased after her calling, "Adra! Adra! I'm going to tell mom!"
"Tell mom what?" she yelled back in a sarcastic tone, "That I'm enjoying my childhood."
Adra weaved in and out of the trees screaming, "See how they run! See how the run!."
Flecher laughed as he caught up to Adra. He grabbed ahold of her t-shirt, but his grip loosened letting her go. "Dang it," he muttered.
She turned her head as she rushed through the forest. "You're going to have to run faster than that to catch me!"
He stared at her before bursting into a full on sprint. Inches behind her he used his last bit of energy to push Adra to the ground giggling.
Adra's quiet giggle quickly turned to a headbanging scream as she fell into a deep pit that had miraculously opened up beneath her. She tried to grab ahold of the sides of the pit however her fingers could not hold onto the slippery mud lining the sides of the hole.
"FLECHER! HELP! HELLLPPP," Adra yelped. Too bad she was already too deep into the abyss for him to hear.

She didn't quite know if it was a dream or not. Her vision changed from the darkness of the pit to a dimly lit room where she could now walk. In the middle of the room was a table, and two chairs pushed into the table facing each other.
Confused, Adra sat in one of the chairs. Right, when her bottom touched the chair a girl emerged from the wall Adra was facing. She was a young teen around Adra's age.
"Hello, are you ready for the session to begin?" The girl asked.
Confused, Adra nodded her head. "I guess-"
"Good, we will be beginning in just a moment. I just need to get some personal information before we can begin." A pen and paper automatically appeared. "First; name?"
"Adra Lynch."
"Great; age?"
"Thirteen"
"Gender?"
"Female."
"Okay, let's begin the session!" she said eagerly.
They naturally moved from the room to a big and bright rainforest. The girl sat on a big leaf coming out of the ground that was somehow sturdy enough to hold her weight.
"What are we going to do?" Adra called to the girl.
The girl ignored Adra's question as she hopped off the leaf. She walked a circle around Adra, picking at her clothes and dark brown hair. "Are your parents poor or something?!"
"W-what?" Adra said stuttering.
"Can't you afford designer brands," she said in disgust.
Adra said,"I don't really care if I impress anyone, it's my own personal style."
"Whatever." The girl walked around to look at Adra's tan face. "Ew, you look disgusting have you ever heard of makeup!"
"But-" Adra tried to protest but the girl cut her off.
"Honey, you bring everyone a lot of joy when you leave the room."
"Wha-"
"Wow, I'm jealous of the people that haven't met you." She smirked as she pushed Adra to the ground. "You are so weak, you can't even lift one little feather." She got right into Adra's face. "You know that?"
"Please!" Adra begged.
"Everyone that ever loved you was wrong!" the girl spat in Adras face. She laughed menacingly as she watched tears fill Adra's eyes. "Crybaby," she muttered.
"Nicole! Stop!" a soft boyish voice yelled from across the forest.
The girl turned around growling, "What do you want Bryce?"
Bryce came jogging up to Nicole and pulled her away from Adra. "What are you doing? Come on I think she's had enough."
"Bryce!" Nicole whined, "Just one more insult. Please!"
"No, why don't you go harass someone else."
Bryce helped Adra up from the ground. "Sorry about Nicole, she gets a little carried away when doing her job."
Bryce snapped his fingers and moved them to a room with a chalkboard on one of the walls. "I think this setting will work better," he muttered.
Bryce disappeared leaving Adra standing in the middle of the room blank-faced. A table appeared in the front of the room with bowls of candy in them. "Oh good I'm starving," Adra thought.
She walked closer to the table and noticed something about the candy. Her brain went into panic mode as she poured one bowl of rainbow-colored candies out onto the table. Frantic, she sorted out all the colors in order from red to purple in piles.
With her hands shaking compulsively, Adra moved onto a bowl of square warm colored candied and set them in stacks according to color. She then arranged them from the tallest stack to the smallest stack.
Sighing in relief Adra picked up one of the candies. Before she could pop the candy into her mouth, the candy automatically reset itself into its bowels like it was before. Her hands became clenched fists, and her breath became heavy.
She again sorted the candy with shaky hands. After placing the last piece of candy she turned around quickly to avoid potentially seeing the candy take its old place. She stood there for a minute and suddenly moved to the bottom of the pit.
She stared around in wonder looking at the edges of the pit and noticed a corridor at the East end of the chasm. She ran down the long hallway and came to a stop at a gigantic room. Standing on the other end of the room was a massive muscular woman.
The lady spoke in a rough, gruff, tone. "Weapon of choice?" she asked.
"I guess a gun or something," Adra said.
"Invalid weapon of choice please try again," the woman said in a monotone voice.
Adra thought for a moment then spoke, "A sword." Just like that, a sword appeared in Adra's hand. She looked over the long silver sword and admired it.
A man's voice sounded in the room, Adra and the woman listened. "Please enter your corner of the room. We will be starting in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
The big lady dashed to Adra's side of the room. Adra filled with panic as she swung her sword at the lady leaving a gash in her thigh. The lady shrieked in pain and picked up Adra to slam her on the ground.
A sharp pain came across Adra's ribs. Adra grabbed her side as she tried to stand up. Once Adra was fully standing the lady punched Adra right in the gut. Adra winced in pain as she fell back to the ground. She used her remaining energy to kick the lady furiously, trying to get her away from her.
The lady took the sword from Adra's had and pushed it deep into Adra's gut letting blood seep out of a wound that opened in her stomach.
"Gah!" Adra screamed in pain as the last bit of life left her body.

"AHHHHHHHH!" she was screaming uncontrollably and they couldn't get her to stop. They decided to wait until she calmed down a little bit to give her her meds.
She had finally calmed down and Flecher came in to talk to her. He knelt down beside the bed and held her hand, keeping a tight grip. At the touch of his hand, she started to tense up. Flecher stroked her palm and whispered to her, "Shh. Calm down Adra everything is going to be alright."
Flecher turned to their mom which was standing in the doorway, "What happened?"
Their mom came in and knelt on the other side of the bed. "Another psychotic episode. She must have had a vision of some sort."
"But isn't it strange mom? She's fine one second but crazy the next. Shouldn't we take her to a doctor or something?" Flecher asked.
"No Flecher, if they find out, who knows what would happen to this family."
