Tyanna had been sitting up in her bed reading another book when she heard something in her room. Glancing around quickly she noticed that her bookshelf was moving. Her eyes widened and she sat there watching as what she believed to be merely nothing more than a shelf was actually a secret door.
"Hello there."
Tyrion said as he appeared from out behind the door. Tyanna slowly closed her book and just looked at Tyrion with the most curious expression. Tyrion couldn't help but find himself grinning and he chuckled.
"I'm guessing you didn't know that was a door?"
"Not a clue."
Tyanna replied setting the book down on her lap in the bed. Tyrion noticed the book then looked back at her. He gave a quick bow.
"Tyrion Lannister."
He greeted, before rising back up to look at her.
"And your name?"
"You don't even know my name?"
Tyanna said her brows frowing together. Tyrion sighed deeply and waddled on over to her.
"My father never told me your name. All he said was that I had a bastard who had managed to find her way to him."
He stopped before the side of the bed. He looked up at Tyanna checking over her features from what he could see that wasn't covered up from her blankets.
"My name is Tyanna."
She caught the look in Tyrion's eyes when she told him her name. He seemed shocked, emotional, and even regret. Her name must have meant something to him for him to look that way at her. But why she didn't know. So she pushed the covers off her and rose to her feet.
"Oh!"
Tyrion exclaimed looking up at his rather tall child. Tyanna arched a brow questioning as to why he was suddenly acting so oddly.
"Something wrong?"
She asked as she walked over to return the book to the shelf walking past him. Tyrion watched her. He looked at her very long legs as she moved. She was normal. She was a normal sized human.
"You're not... you're... you're rather tall."
He admitted.
"Does that not please you?"
She asked wondering what her height had to do with anything at all. Unless she was uncommonly tall for a girl? Then she could understand.
"No. No the opposite actually."
Tyanna glanced over her shoulder at Tyrion. She seen his expression and then she understood. Tyrion was happy that she wasn't a dwarf like him. She felt her heart break a little. Even after the fact that she wasn't all too excited to meet her father who had given her absolutely nothing in her life except for her life, she found herself quickly growing fond of the man.
"I'm tall I know."
Tyanna said as she placed the book away. She looked back at Tyrion.
"I don't believe Lord Tywin approves of just how tall I am. Doesn't think it will make a match for a sutor."
Tyrion arched his brows. Since when was his father attempting to marry off her? Tyrion had only just arrived and apparently his father was already trying to play matchmaker with a bastard Lannister who had no titles and no name for herself. He wasn't sure exactly what his father was thinking but he knew that whatever it was his father had a plan and he was going to push it forward.
"He's going to have you legitizmed. Become a true Lannister to -- "
"To marry me off to some snobbish Lord for money more than likely. I didn't want any of this. All o wanted was to come here to Lannisport and fish."
She told him truthfully.
Tyrion of course being himself couldn't help but fine the situation horrible but with the way that she finished explaining herself he couldn't help but give a small chuckle.
"Well, it seems that you've managed to catch the attention of one of the biggest fish ever."
She looked at Tyrion.
"My father."
