𝑳𝑨𝑽𝑬𝑰𝑮𝑵𝑰𝑨 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑬𝑳𝒀 𝑴𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑬𝑫 𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑷𝑶𝑰𝑺𝑬 𝑾𝑯𝑰𝑳𝑬 𝑹𝑼𝑵𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑻𝑶𝑾𝑨𝑹𝑫𝑺 𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑴𝑶𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹, 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑻𝑳𝒀 𝑯𝑨𝑫 𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑨𝑹𝑴𝑺 𝑶𝑷𝑬𝑵 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑸𝑼𝑬𝑬𝑵 𝑻𝑶 𝑱𝑼𝑴𝑷 𝑰𝑵. The queen latched herself onto her mother for a bone-crushing hug as relief washed through both of them.

Former queen Elaine's sobs of relief were muffled by her daughter's arm. "Oh my God, what took you so long?!" She cried before releasing her daughter to get a good look on her state. Luckily, no wounds were etched on her daughter's skin, but Laveignia looked disheveled.

The young queen of Humelios heaved a big sigh of relief spotting both of her mom and Millen together. "Are you both okay?" Laveignia asked them both before giving Millen a hug. "You're the one to ask!" Millen exclaimed, worry also evident in her face. "How about you?"

Laveignia gave them both a reassuring smile. "I am fine." She answered.

Thanks to Jimin, her subconscious added.

That's when her thoughts completely led her back to Jimin and that tan companion of his. What was her name again? Laveignia wondered how they were doing inside the palace.

Which then led her thoughts to the crystal that was vibrating violently inside her closed hand. Jimin's words bounced on the walls of her mind.

"You are the owner of this crystal...."

"This crystal contains an incredible power that can only be awaken by the chosen owner..."

"...it means you will own the power of the crystal...."

But the idea was insane. How could she trust something so easily? And from a stranger, too? A stranger from a different kingdom even!

Choose her? Why her? How?

Then she recalled the crystalized mass that appeared on Jimin's arms that he used as a shield for them. The fireballs that the female were releasing as an attack to the mysterious invader.

"She, she was the first owner we found. She never wanted her fate, but there she is, fighting."

Laveignia wondered how it was for the first crystal owner. How was she convinced? How can something so hard to take in seemed easy for her?

But again, it was impossible. Magic has long been gone and Magicals have lied low ever since the war. How is Jimin and that girl an exemption?

The vibration of the crystal brought her back to reality. Laveignia looked down and gently opened her palm. The black and cresent-shaped crystal vibrated continuously and intensely glowed before her.

"Darling, what's that on your hand?" She heard her mother ask, followed by gasps, telling her that they've seen the brilliant object in her hand.

Something inside her suddenly urged her to go back inside the palace and help Jimin and the other crystal owner.

But the poor queen doesn't know how she could help. She can't fight with her fists that's for sure. Jimin mentioned something about her owning the powers of the crystal but how would she know if she has it already?
