Chapter 1

 

((I heard a voice slowly fading away. I can hear it calling out to me. I couldn't tell if it was a man or a womans voice. It sounded just right in between.

'Lilly....come with me Lill's...come back to me, become what you forgot'  I kept on walking through a dark tunnel. I could only hear water dropping...water that was now hitting my face and torso. 'Lilly...' Yes im here! Who are you?'

Nothing...just silence that was broken by the water drops. I asked one more time.  

'Hello...please answer me....'then suddenly I saw a beast running towards me. My heart started to go wild but I couldn't see what it was. Wait a minute... A werewolf? Oh heaven's...It's ready to eat me! His eyes...there familiar eyes... I tried to move but my body was frozen solid in the grown watching the beast getting closer and closer in full speed...then opened his jaw ready to take a bite of my flesh....))

"Ahhhhhhh"

I woke up covered in sweat gasping for air. My heart felt like it was on a race. Its mission... to win it! With every breath I took my heart kept goin in full speed. Panic kept coming back just thinking of the werewolfs fangs all pointy and terrifying. Almost close enough to ripping my throat. My whole body was shaking with just the thought of being eaten alive by that enormous creature. I've never seen such and enormous wolf in my life. Or maybe I'm just freaking out over this stupid dream. Or better yet nightmare. Kinda looked like someone I know. I tried to steady my breathing when I notice someone woke up by my exasperation .

"Are you ok Lilly?" said Grey with concern in his voice.

He always knew how to calm me down, and he could do so only with his voice and fur.

"Yeah I'm ok. It was just a nightmare, that's all."

I managed a fake smile and pretended to fall asleep again.

He quickly lower his head and continued sleeping. Suddenly I heard a whisper in the darkness "Only in time..." then quickly faded away. What was that all about? '''Just relax Lilly it's all in your head.'''

I looked around my dark room only to find nothing but my old crimson red velvet curtains moving with the wind. Everything else was pitch black except for the light of the moon that came creeping from the window close to the curtains. I looked at Grey thinking he may have heard it but he didn't he was still sleeping. '''Now that was creepy!''' I looked down again and stared at him.

A smile slipped out of the corner of my lips. He looks so cute when he was asleep, so peaceful . His and alpha male but I have never seen his human form. Not even once he would let me see how he looks. He has to be really old by now. Like fifthy nine or something like that... Grey has been with my family for far too long. I don't even remember when... he was just....there when needed. I don't even know how he's related to us either.

I still wonder who gave him the order, or better yet the obligation of protecting me. But he did, always protected me. He's gigantic too. His dark grey fur felt so nice when I made my way to rub his ear's. I could get lost just in the thought of how deep dark blue his eye's were. So majestic, graceful and just perfect. Back in his days he must have been very handsome. Why can he shift for me? I want to know how my saviour looks like in person. My best friend. My loyal friend I should say! All the advises given. The breakups that he cured with his warmth caressing fur that made me tingle everytime I felt sad or depress. He is a stubborn old men. I'll make him shift...hopefully. One of these days I used to say. I'm beginning to think one of these days will never come...the man is stubborn as hell! Dryness started to make my throat hurt so I decided to get up.
