I woke up to the sound of a bell ringing.I rubbed my eyes looking at the alarm next to me reading 8:47 breakfast is usually at 8.Confused I got up and had a peak into the hallway to see all the girls running around with dresses in their hands.

Someone must have came to adopt I finally realised .I don't really care anymore no one would ever adopt me look at me with my black hair ugly blue eyes and my skinny arms.I got ready any way not wanting to get grounded from my computer for a week like the last time I didn't turn up.I just put some jeans and a plain green T-shirt nothing to special they probably wouldn't get that far down the line.Grabbing my drawing pad and pencil to keep me occupied while whoever it is talks to the princesses.

As I walked into the meeting room with the princesses get in a line youngest to oldest ( I was daily near the back as the older ones left as soon as they could) i saw their was a two pairs of young couples who would obviously go to the younger cuter kids and a young man with sandy brown hair and calming brown eyes.I didn't pay any attention to what Mrs Jones was saying and opened my drawing pad where a picture of a half completed creeper was.I started drawing not paying attention to the people adopting and smiling happily as my creeper was almost finished.

That's when I heard a loud obviously fake cough come from in front of me.My eyes shot up to meet Mrs Jones eyes and the eyes of the young man earlier to see him standing in front of me smiling kindly.Mrs Jones quickly said "Emma if you would please have some manners and put that stupid drawing away and pay attention to your surroundings." I rolled my eyes when she called me Emma but sill put my book away not wanting to get shouted at right now.The young man watched as this went on."Hi,"he started when Mrs Jones went to talk to one of the couples "my names Mitch what's yours?". I looked at him like he was mad was he talking to me!

"Umm are you talking to me" I questioned him .

He chuckled "Yea of course I'm talking to you "

Still surprised as no one usually gave me a second glance "My names Emma but you can call me Emmy"he smiled

"Het Emmy I see you like Minecraft that was a cool looking creeper!" I started cheering up.

But of course it was short live as one of the worst princesses Katie interrupted

"Why are you talking to that freak about nerdy games when you could be busy talking to some normal like me who doesn't play stupid video games!"

Mitch simply replied "Because maybe I want to adopt someone who isn't stuck up and seems fun to have around unlike you "I somehow managed to keep my laughter in as she stood their quietly shock all over her face.Mitch just chuckled and walked over to Mrs Jones.Katie suddenly turned to me not in shock anymore "Well done freak for interfering with my new dad." .I rolled my eyes she obviously didn't understand that Mitch didn't like her.I didn't have time to argue with her as Mrs Jones called my name I quickly ran over not wanting to talk to Katie anymore . " Go pack your things this kind gentleman has adopted you ,not to think of any reasons why ." she mumbled the last part to herself. Surprised I ran up to my room grabbing my backpack and filling it with tell small amount of things I had.Food check money check drawing book check clothes check . The only thing i couldn't take was my computer praying there would be one there.I looked around my empty room glad to be able to leave it . I ran down as I heard my name being called.I followed Mitch into his car just before we pulled into a driveway he said smiling at me "welcome to your new home." I looked up to see massive house and the door opening to a group of people my mouth fell wide open...
