Few days have gone without being in track with it. Whatever it may be, I was for the summer vacation for at least half of a month and I had ample of time dating with Lhasang.
I checked whether she was online or not and to my favour she was. I didn't know how to send her the message, from where to start or how to post the message at the first place.
With shivering hand I typed: " Hi Lhasang!"
I felt a bit nervous what would be her reaction: would she reply or wouldn't she? Out of my surprise, a message popped on the screen. I was too excited that I even forgot to look who it was. I gathered all the efforts stored for me and typed, " I miss you!"
The message instantly got replied, " Oh really? Where are you? I want to kiss you, babe." I was absolutely blank that Lhasang has replied me unbelievable that led my heart to cower and palpitate for a blinking second.
I punched my hands in the air to celebrate the happiness. I felt like I have won the golden medal from the university or won the U. S. Presidentship election.
I now looked at it again and clearly and out of my astonishment it was Penjor! Double f*** you! ...shit....shit....shit!
" Haha." I typed and felt absurd. I was too engrossed that I even forgot to look at the message clearly.
"Dawa? Come for the dinner!" Yelled my sister from the sitting room.
"OK. I would be there." I shouted back still mingling with the mobile.
I waited for a minute for her reply scrolling the chat box. But she didn't reply that rendered me helpless. No option left, I went to the sitting room for the dinner leaving the phone inside my room.
The dinner was watering! My favourite dish ever: a true non-humane! It was chicken roast. The delicious smell of the dish diffused the whole room while I entered inside the sitting room.
"Why are you too late?" Frowned my sister, Sonam Yangzom.
"I was a bit busy chatting with my friends.'' I replied sitting on the chair and smiled.
"Gff Chhikha Hong Tey?(With your girlfriend?)" She teased me smilingly. I was perplexed and confined in my own thought for a while. What she uttered was precise but it was disgrace to reveal such stuff as I haven't even completed class twelve--more half years left unrequited.
So, I just smiled and started to have my share.
"Wow! Sister. It's delicious!" I remarked, complimenting for the yummy dish she has prepared.
"Oh is it? Then blast your tummy!" She giggled, sipping mouthful of dal.
"It is how my mom always prepares the dish!" Backed up my lovely darling while herself was engrossed separating the bones from the flesh.
