Chapter 1 Questions and Lies

(Third Person's POV)

Baekhyun look around and suddenly he feel nervous. He's sitting infront of reporters with his Manager beside him. The flashes of the cameras. The voices of the reporters. The judging look of the fans in the side. Baekhyun can't take it anymore. He wants to run far away from that place and hide somewhere. But he need to face this. Because he is fearless. Many are asking. Many are wondering. Many are disappointed yet their are also some supporting him. He said that he needs to go to the comfort room but his manager whispered to him that they will start the presscon.

'If only Chanyeol is here. But he will never be.' Baekhyun said in his mind and tried to fake a smile for his fans and the reporters. They shouldn't know that he's having a problem. Oh. Yes he is. But not that kind of problem. He stand up and bowed ninety degrees as a sign that the presscon is starting. "Annyeonghaseyo. I am Byun Baekhyun. And I called all of you--- Well, my manager did. Because of the rumor that me and Taeyeon noona are dating---" He looks around and silence reign all over them. Eager to hear Baekhyun's statement. Whether the dating rumor is true or not. "And yeah. We are." He saw the sad expression of the fans and his Manager told him to sit down.

One reporter raised her hand and she was called to stand up. Baekhyun's heart is beating so fast while looking down the table. He doesn't want to face the reporter whoever it is because he might breakdown. He knows that his co members is watching him at their dorm. And he's nervous because he know that Chanyeol is watching too. It's breaking his heart to think that Chanyeol is crying. Yet he need to do this. He waited for the question while thinking of answers. Just one wrong answer and everything will be ruin.

"I am Park Yura---" Baekhyun suddenly look up. He look at the reporter and was very shocked to see that Chanyeol's sister is the one who want to ask him. Yes, he knows that Yura is a reporter. But he didn't expect that she will come. She is a weather reporter not like this. "Is it true that you are dating for four months? Why did you hide this? Especially your best friend and co roomate---" Yura paused and she glared at Baekhyun. Baekhyun knows who she's talking about especially with that glare. But Yura managed to put up a fake smile. "Park Chanyeol. Aww. My brother by the way. Didn't knew nor didn't suspected. You are very good in hiding Mr. Byun Baekhyun." Baekhyun frozed.

His manager look at him and was waiting for his answer. He knows about Baekhyun and Chanyeol. And with Chanyeol's sister asking about the rumor, surely Baekhyun was shocked and very nervous. But he needs to answer. He took a deep breath and fake a smile. He stand up. He needs to finish this for once and for all. He will breakdown any moment. But not in the presscon.

"Hi Yura noona. Nice to see you again." Baekhyun saw Yura roll her eyes. She was never like this before. She always smile at Baekhyun. They were close. But Baekhyun knew that it changed because of what happened between them and Chanyeol. "Yes. We are dating for four months. I think I hide it well since it also came from you that your brother, my co roomate, my best friend, didn't knew nor didn't supected. I think he is too dense? Maybe." Yura sent him a death glare. He's hurt yet he needs to show her that he doesn't care. "All I can say is. I love Taeyeon noona. We are very happy. I am so sorry that I lied to the fans but we need to protect each other's reputation. We are very glad that SMEnt accepted us. We hope that our fans will soon accept us. And this presscon is now finish." Baekhyun bowed once again and he left the room. They didn't see the tears that started falling from his eyes.
