Ever since the occurrence of the incident during vacations,the air between me and namjoon was strange and awkward.which is basically not how it should be.But i feel like we both keep ignoring each other sub consciously . Every time
I throw a glance at him he's so... engrossed in a book or he's scribble something down in a piece of paper.
Because Minje next to me;taking Suga sleepiness as a reasonable excuse,now I'm sitting ne to minjae my bestie since childhood instead of namjoon.it occurred to me that he and I barely had a proper conversation with each other than a simple 'hi' or a 'bye '. I ain't lying but he isn't clumsy anymore. He doesn't drop or break things like he usually does,he doesn't just joke around like he used to, making other people laugh(me;precisely).i missed Those euphoric moments we shared.i miss his clumsiness and nerd jokes. I miss those times where I would sing to him and he just accompanies the thing with a passionate rap. I miss the incredible warmth when I'm between his arms. I miss the times that my heart goes wild and the butterflies in my stomach would go maniac when the gap between our lips is almost one inch. Simply I miss the good old namjoon oppa I once knew. I'm not scared if he turns into a complete monster infront of me but I can't stand the fact that he isn't himself anymore. It felt so lonely although the girls stood by my side as usual and as always.
And..... the present
The bell rang awaring us that it's time for lunch. I wasn't really surprised to c that namjoon was the first to exit the class .i told you he's acting weird all these days.At the moment I lacked the courage to go see where he went so I just stayed trying not to bother.I have lost the appetite to eat and today instead of the usual spot that we ate lunch,for a change we went to the cafeteria where the rest of the colleagues would eat.namjoon was no where to be seen inside the spacious room.The vibe was fine alright as the continuous chirp of the students filled the atmosphere .all 13 us sat around a square table which was placed away from the food counter .my friends chatted away with the guys munching away their food leaving me to stare blankly at the Diet Coke bottle which remained unopened in my hand,suddenly a warm hand was placed on my shoulder, which was covered by the material of the t shirt I'm wearing .i felt the warmth of the hand even through the layer of fabric between the hand and my skin.a smile spread across my face..
"finally,it has to be namjoon..."
I turned around
but I was wrong.
