Following what happened earlier, I was still seen as a new guest which meant absolute hospitality but not full trust from the islanders. We settled around a campfire and ate fish together while J played the guitar and the girls tried to get to know me.
"So where are you from?" Asked Emma.
"Scotland. What about all of you?" I replied.
"Scotland? Wow I love Scotland! I'm from England." Said Sadie as she butted into the conversation in a dazed state.
"California." - Emma
"Washington." - Rosie
"France." - Margaret
"Amsterdam." - Willow

I felt so unglamorous compared to them, I was from Scotland when someone else there was from California!
They tried to make me feel so comfortable and welcome. All except for one. Rosie. She was so in love with J and she didn't want anyone to get in the way of that, especially not me since he'd been overly friendly with me since I got there and had been smiling at me all night.
At one point he was watching me, when I was sitting with the girls, with a smile on his face, he then whispered something to Frank (the English guy who spoke to me at the cliff) and then they both continued to look. I wondered what J had said but he was being nice to me so I smiled back. In all honesty, J was extremely attractive, I understood why he had these girls stuck to him, worshipping him. His eyes could hypnotise a blind man. As sadie would say, he had a really strong 'energy'.
There where still other girls on the island but they weren't one of 'his girls' although it didn't seem like he had a type. Each one of 'his girls' looked completely different! They all just had the same hippy look going on.
As we continued talking, I spotted J getting up from sitting on the sand and walking over to me.
"Come on, Cherie. We need to sort out somewhere for you to sleep." He smiled as he lead me to the hut where I first met him.
"I know it's not the height of comfort but we all get used to it here."
"No, no, its lovely!" I worryingly replied as I didn't want to offended him.
My 'bed' (an old mattress) was next to Sadie's and a white candle which burned a little too close for comfort but I didn't want to start moving things around on the first night. A lot of us had beds in here but there was another hut too with more beds in for the rest of the island.
"I'm really happy you found us, Cherie. Now get some rest." He said right before kissing me on the cheek and then once on my neck, making me blush and him smile in response to it. We both said goodnight to each other and I was the first one on the island in bed. Exhausted but I couldn't sleep for a long time.
I couldn't stop thinking about him already!
It seemed like everything was happening so fast here but it also felt as if I'd been here for months already. I was just so excited to see what tomorrow had in store for me and to find out more about J.
