Chapter 7

Betty's P.O.V:

I opened my eyes and saw Toni's arms around me, our legs tangled in and around each other, along with Chrissy's. I shuffled a little to get out of their grasp, and untangled my legs. I rubbed my eyes and stretched. Toni stirred a little, so I got up. I didn't want to wake them, they stayed up much later then me making sure I was okay. I went out to the kitchen and made some eggs, it's not the same without Juggie. Watching them sizzle I got lost in my own thoughts. What it'd be like to kiss him, and hug him, cuddle with him. I know we've done those things [except for the kiss of course] before but... if we were dating, I don't know... it'd be... different, I guess. I slid the eggs on a plate and microwaved some bacon. I made some extra for when Toni and Chrissy woke up. I sat down at the table with my food, thinking about how today would go. It was now Sunday, so I had my date with Fangs tomorrow, which meant that Chrissy and Toni were gonna plan some stuff tonight like my outfit and makeup, so they could be ready tomorrow. Toni and Sweet Pea are leaving tomorrow for New Jersey so they can try and stop Penny again. Ugh, Penny Peabody. A.k.a the devil incarnate. She was who made the serpents have a bad name, making them do drug-runs for favors or 'tie up' her loose ends. She disgusts me. Then I noticed a note from Sweet Pea on the table, 

Over at Jug's he wanted to talk. Probably gonna crash there. Don't wanna ruin your girl time. I'll be at the worm if you need anything.

 "Hey, what're you doing?" I heard from behind me. "Just eating some breakfast, thinking about the trip that Sweets and Toni have to take." "Yeah, it's good Fangs said Monday, it'll keep your mind off of it." "Yeah I hope so" "Don't worry B, we'll be fine. We always are." Toni said as she came out of my room. "Yeah I know but I still worry." "I know you do, but I'll make sure to call you everyday. And it's only for a week." "A week? That's longer than the last two times." Chrissy joined in. "Yeah we're hoping this is the final take down of Penny." "Ugh hopefully." I said.  They sat down and ate the bacon I made, and after we were full and had a good converstion we fell into a comfortable silence. " Hey B?" "Hmm?" I hummed. " Last night... When you were describing what happened..." Toni trailed off. "Yes?" I willed her to contuine. " You said, I turned around in his arms and looked into my oceans. At first I thought you just looked to the waves, but I swear I heard my oceans." My eyes widened as I looked down. My secret was out, and it felt like his eyes weren't mine anymore. But also like it needed to come out. Cause if I got with Fangs, well they would be someone else's wouldnt they? Tears welled in my eyes at the thought. I quickly blinked them away and looked back up to confused faces. " I-um... When I met Juggie, the first thing I noticed was his eyes. And for as long as I can remeber they were my oceans. They're a deep blue and go super deep... Just like the ocean." Chrissy's face turned soft, but Toni's came to more of a lightbulb moment. "You've loved him all your life. You've clamed his as yours all your life." she breathed. " Holy shit." Realization crossed my face too. "Oh my god. I have! He's always been mine. It was love... at first sight, at that day in Pops...." my head fell to the table. "Girl you've got it bad. But he probably feels the same." Toni said. I just chuckled, lifting my head from the table. "Yeah, no he made that very clear that he does not think that way." Silence fell over us once again. "I've got a shift at the worm I gotta get to in about an hour. So I have to go. But, I will be back later to prepare for your date with Fangs." Chrissy said, geting up from the table. "Okay. I'll see you later then." I gave her smile and slight wave as she walked out the door with her bag. I heard the door of Jug's trailer close too, and I couldn't help but look out the window. Devil walked out carrying a bag and locked arms with Chrissy. Devil stayed at his house I guess. After a little bit of T.V. Toni had to go start packing a little and so she left to her trailer, leaving me all alone. After staring at the TV mindlessly for a few minutes I decided I'd text Jug.
