The Camaro drives itself, the police car speeding after it with its lights going off. Emilia had to hold onto the handle above the window, sitting in the drivers seat and watching the wheel turn on its own.
"Do you still think I'm crazy?" She asked Sam, having to yell over the racing cars.
"No!" He responds. "God, no, you're sane! We just need to go faster!"
The Camaro takes a sharp turn, crashing through a window to cross through an old building in the hopes of losing the police car. It seemed to work, since the sirens began to fade and soon you could only hear the engine of their car.
"I think we're okay," Emilia says with a small, but nervous smile. "I think he did it, he got away."
"Maybe," Sam nods, keeping his voice quiet. "What the hell were you thinking, anyway? You left the house by yourself and thought... what? Where were you going to go?"
"I don't know, away. I was trying to get him away from you because you're not really the brightest person and are bound to get hurt somehow."
"Oh, yes, blame this on me!" He whisper yelled at her.
"I'll blame this on you all I want, okay? That robot thinks I own you Ebay account and wants our grandfathers glasses! I told you not to sell those!"
Before Sam can respond, the Camaro takes off driving, the police car not far behind them. Sam's door opens up, to which the car spins them around and knocks them right out. The Twins look up at it, seeing its parts begin to shift around like the police car did. Then, it transformed into the same robot Emilia saw.
The police car was seconds behind, transforming and tackling the yellow one. Sam grabs his sister, tugging her away from the two to get away from the fighting.
"Lets go!" He yells at her, leading her away. They manage to get a good distance before Sam drops to the ground. Emilia looks over, seeing one of the robots - though much smaller - attacking his leg. "It's going to kill me!" He yells, it latching onto his pants and trying to pull him back to the larger robots.
His sister glances around, hoping to find something in order to help. Her eyes land on a metal pipe, to which she quickly moves over to grab it. It was heavier than she expected, but she manages to lift it and move back to the robot that was attacking Sam. She pauses, no longer seeing the two there.
"Sam!" She yelled for him, waiting impatiently for a response.
"Emilia!" The girl hears his voice down the hill, by the fence. She starts running for him, carefully - but still quickly - making her way down the hill where the robot was pinning her brother to the fence.
It backs away from him, taking a its time to charge up and attack him. Though it doesn't get far, Emilia hitting it as hard as she could in the head. She brings the pipe back, before hitting it the second time and knocking its head clean off its shoulders.
"Jesus christ," Sam muttered, taking in deep breaths to calm himself down. "Come on, we need to go."
The blonde nods in agreement, dropping the pipe and following him back up to where they saw the two robots. The police car robot was nowhere to be seen, now, just the yellow Camaro standing amidst a bunch of dust that had kicked up in the fight.
"What do you think it is?" Emilia asks.
"A robot."
"Obviously."
"No, but like... Japanese. It's gotta be Japanese."
"Shut up, there's no way," she shakes her head, eyes on the robot as it starts coming closer to them. "I don't think it wants to hurt us, not like the other one." She glances at her brother, before slowly taking a few steps forward.
"Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure you told me this is the car that was following you and that got you put in jail for a night!"
"Oh, yes, blame the robot," she sent a glare at her brother. "No one believed me when I saw him."
"Him?" He raises an eyebrow.
"It, whatever." The girl turns to look back at the robot, unsure of what to really do. "Can... can you talk?"
The radio turned on, putting out sentences like: 'Satellite radio. Broadcasting system.'
"You... you speak through the radio, then?" To this, it nods and claps his hands. "So... what was that last night? I know you know I was there, I saw everything."
The robot points up at the sky, the radio turning on again. "Rained down like visitors from heaven!"
"What?" Sam frowns as he moves to stand next to Emilia. "Visitors from heaven? What's that mean? You're not from around here? Are you an alien?"
This time, the robot doesn't answer. Instead, he just looks at them before starting to transform back into the car, the door open for the two of them to get in once more. The Twins looks at each other, not needing to speak as they moved to get in, Emilia sliding over to sit in the drivers side.
The Camaro starts to drive, the radio playing some music. It was much more relaxing now than before, obviously. No one was trying to kill them this time.
"I can't believe this is happening," Sam says as he shakes his head. "Our first car ends up being some... super, high-tech robot."
"I know," Emilia nods with a small smile, eyes on the steering wheel. It was so weird to see it move without anyone actually driving it.
"I just don't get why it chose to look like such a piece of crap, I mean-" the radio cuts off, the Camaro slams on its breaks, stopping at the edge of the road. The door opened, which was a motion for them to get out.
"Are you kidding me?" Sam asked, stepping out of the car. When he did, the door shut and turned around to head the other way down the road, his sister still in the drivers seat.
"Hey, hey," she says as they start driving away, shaking her head. "Sam is a total jerk but you can't just leave him like that."
"Don't need 'im," the radio says in response.
"Okay, maybe you don't, but I'd love to get my dumb brother back in the car. Come on, please?" There's no response, the engine starting to hum as the interior of the Camaro began to highlight in blue, making Emilia's hair stand on end. Within the blink of an eye, the whole car had changed from the 1976 Camaro, to the 2014 Camaro.
The car turned around, too, pulling back up next to Sam. "This better, hotrod?" The radio asked, making the blonde girl laugh a little.
"Sorry, sorry," Sam swallows hard. "Won't happen again."
