Batman trudges through the sewers, careful about where he turns. He starts to hear noises. The sound of metal scraping on metal, and the occasional dragged out whisper of "Batman." Rummaging sounds could be heard behind him.

Quickly, he uses the communicator that Catwoman installed. "Hey, you didn't tell me Scarecrow was here."

"What? I didn't call him. Bats? Where are you?" Catwoman says briskly.

"As far as I can remember, I took a left and two rights," he replies.

"Alright. I'm coming to you."

"I'll be the one splashing about, just so you know," Batman says jokingly.

"Haha, very funny. Too bad you don't have a waterproof suit."

"I do have one. I just didn't think to put it on," Batman trails off.

Following Batman's directions, Catwoman made it to Batman's location but doesn't see him anywhere. She grows worrisome and confused. "I don't see you," she calls out worriedly. "Are you in his Dream World?"

"Uh, I think I am..."

"What do you want me to do?" Catwoman asks.

"I want you to get Alfred to call the Justice League and get off the property. Scarecrow placed a bomb with a two minute timer."

"Okay... I love you, Bats. Please be careful," Catwoman pleads.

"I love you, too. And I'm always careful. I'm Batman."

The communicator produces a static sound. Breaking off as if there was a bad connection. "I just hope you're okay," she prays. Using the communicator, she then calls for Alfred. "I need you to call the Justice League and send them to the sewers in the Batcave. Batman is in Scarecrow's Dream World."
"Will do, madam. Let's hope he makes it out alright."

"He will. Thank you."

The Justice League comes and inspects every inch of the sewers, to see if they could find any way to bring back Batman. Meanwhile, Catwoman climbs into the Batmobile and races back to the warehouse. When she reaches it, she tries to watch her surroundings, but she feels too distracted. She still feels too worried about Batman. Will he make it out okay? she wonders. Footsteps could be heard. Shuffling sounds. There is a sound that sounds like someone is breathing from their mouth. So many whispers are heard.

"Slut."

"Traitor."

"What is she doing here?"

Catwoman turns to one of the voices, but it feels like the voice itself punches her, knocking her down. Her head bangs against the ground, causing her to slip unconscious. More voices. Someone she recognizes.

"Thought you could trick me, Hardy?"

"Mr. J?" Catwoman groans quietly.

"I knew something was up when you asked about the Avengers. Now I know why. You've changed!" Joker spats.

Back in the sewers, the Justice League finds a way to bring Batman back. Thanking them, he says "We need to get to the warehouse and find Catwoman."

"What is she up to now?" one of the members complains.

"Nothing. She changed sides and now she's in trouble. Big trouble," Batman adds.
