Three Weeks later...

Tom and I hadn't talked since I killed the balistik. He doesnt know I killed it, but I think he has his suspicions.

School dragged on, and I was top of the classes, besides Tom. I was invited to Slugclub multiple times, but I declined every time.

Not much has happened in the mean time, not that I am aware of.

I was starting to miss my Hogwarts. The crazy adventures with Harry, the occasional duels with Draco. I never thought I would miss that sad excuse for a ferret.

I know I was given a mission, but it was starting to take a toll on me. Seeing my father, so young, so evil.

I wanted to meet my mother, but she was a homeschooled pureblood. I wanted to see the women that should have raised me.

But she didn't. She died too soon for that to happen. In a sense my story is oddly familiar to my fathers. She only could name me, before she passed, and I was stuck to live in an orphanage the rest of my life. At least until McGonagall came to whisk me away to a magical world.

I was sitting on my bed, looking out the window of the orphanage. I heard a tap on the door, which surprised me since I was suppose to be locked up for another hour.

I turned to see Mrs. Taylor and a strange looking lady.

"Ava."

"Yes Mrs. Taylor?"

"I have a women who would like to meet you. She wants to offer you a spot at her school."

Sure, school. More like a mental institute.

"Hello Miss Riddle, I am Professor McGonagall."

Then Mrs. Taylor left the room.

"I know why you're here." I told her.

"You do? And why is that?" She asked

"You think I'm crazy. Your a doctor, that wants to fix me."

"No dear. I want to offer you a spot at Hogwarts, school for witchcraft and wizardry."

"Why?"

"Ava, have you ever had anything unusual happen, something that you can't explain? You're a witch Ava, and so am I."

"Prove it." I said not beliving her.

Suddenly she pulled out a stick, and pointed it to my chair. She did a simple motion with it, and it lit up on fire.

My eyes were fixated on the burning before me.

"Okay."

"You accept?"

"Will I get to leave here?"
