Gon was oftenly considered mischievous as a young child. He got himself into trouble even when he didn't mean to. You could easily find Gon with a bunch of friends, swimming in the calm creeks of the North, hiking up the steep hills to the east of his garden. He was always outside, with the birds singing, the leaves rustling, even while it was a bit cloudly Gon easily lit up the day. He never had one dull moment, and was always full of energy and light. However, all that changed when he and his Aunt Mito decided it would be a nice change to move into the city of York New.
Gon was suddenly staying inside more, and eating less for that matter. If he was going to stop being so active than he would have to stop eating 4 servings at every meal, it wasn't a huge change but it was enough to make Gon feel out of place. Gon was starting at a new school in the city this Monday; Hunter High, the day was currently Sunday and it couldn't be going worse in gon's opinion.
"All I wanted was to order pizza for my nephew! What do you mean it won't be here for another hour? I ordered it nearly thirty minutes ago!"
Gon could hear his Aunt Mito clear way from his room, it was quite clear to him that she was yelling at a pizza company over the phone. His aunt Mito has, and for as long as Gon had known her slicked her bright ginger hair back using woman's hair gel, it didn't help much as for the fact that a number of strands from her bangs always fell out. Aunt Mito never seemed to notice, of course it wasn't a bad look on her, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having hair gel.
"You know what...? Cancel the goddamn pizza, and don't send me coupons anymore! I will not be calling back."
The one thing Gon had loved at first sight was his house, well... apartment. Although it had aged, it definitely had charm. The walls were painted an olive green color, while the brimming towards the flooring, around the door, around the windows is complimenting the olive color, resulting in a rusty reddish-brownish color. And switch in the rooms separate from the open concept kitchen and living room. The flooring in most rooms beside the kitchen was a light tan shag carpet, the kitchen littered with tiles of the same color pallet, in a tiny bit of a darker shade. There's windows basically throughout the entire apartment, in Gon's room an entire wall was made purely out of glass. Of course, all the windows were complete with black-grey long-hanging curtains.
As Gon's Aunt Mito finished her phone call she stormed up to Gon's door and started pounding on it, clearly infuriated.
Her tone suddenly hushed, all the past anger left as wisps. "Gon! Try and finish unpacking while I fix dinner, the pizza wasn't able to happen tonight, sorry sweetheart"
Gon leaned his head between his legs, inhaled and exhaled, Aunt Mitos voice was truely calming when she wasn't being scary.
He paused a moment before replying.
"Yes!"
