The Soul Transfer Experiment

Admiral: During the summoning of Missouri over a year ago there was a problem. Since her actual ship is still afloat it was going to be more difficult to summon her. But since we were able to get Iowa summoned we thought we would be able to summon another one. But we were terrible wrong. When we summoned her she was on the verge of death. Everything we did to save her failed, except one thing. The only way we could save her was to do an experimental test that can put one soul into another. Code Name: Soul Transfer. But we didn't want anybody to bear that burden unwillingly. So we asked for someone to volunteer. And that person wa-.

" Me."

Admiral: Yes, you wanted to save her no matter the cost. So we did the experiment. And it succeeded. But there was some problems. We already told you some of them.

" Yeah like the memory lose."

Admiral: Exactly, but there was a concern. We knew that if her soul was in you that you would be able to use her weapons. But we were concerned that the two souls would fight for control. At first we thought it would be ok. Since it's been a year since the summoning. But in the recent incident we were wrong.

" But why didn't you tell me about the Soul Transfer Experiment?"

Admiral: We didn't want you to panic.

You sigh.

" Well at least that answers a lot of my questions. I just wish I was told sooner."

You sit up. When you do. You see yourself in the mirror or what it looks like to be you.

" What? What the hell happened!"

You quickly stand up and head to the mirror to see that the left half of your hair is gold. And your left eye has a star in it.

Admiral: My guess is that she took advantage of your weakened state. And know she is trying to make your body hers.

" So that's what she meant."

You clench your fist.

" Damn it."

Fubuki suddenly speaks out.

Fubuki: Is there any way to stop it.

The Admiral shakes his head.

Admiral: We can't do anything. He's the only one who can prevent it. As long as he doesn't give in to her she won't be able to take over.

" I won't."

Fubuki and the Admiral look at you.

" I won't let her win."

The Admiral smiles.

Admiral: He's back.

" What do you mean?"

Admiral: Nothing. Well I finished what I had to do here. So I gotta go back to the office. I'll leave the two of you alone.

The Admiral leaves.

" That guy."

Fubuki: He is a great man huh.

" Yeah, I guess that's why I looked up to him."

You look over at Fubuki to see her fidgeting.

" Hey are you ok."

Tear's start fall from her eyes. She then quickly hugs you.

" Fubuki whats wrong?"

Fubuki: We thought we lost you. I thought I lost you.

" Fubuki."

Fubuki: I don't know what I would do if I lost someone I cared for.

You quickly wrap your hands around her.

" I feel the same way. I've only known you for a few days. But during that short time I was amazed of how strong you are. I wish I could be as strong as you."

Fubuki: What are you saying! During the battle I was scared. I was about to be sunk and you came in and saved me. You looked so strong.

" It's just a look. I was so scared that I was too late. I don't know what I would do if I lost you."

Fubuki: What are you saying?

" ( I can't stop here. I have to tell her.) What I'm saying is that I lo-."

Before you could finish talking Kongou bursts through the door followed by seven other ship girls.

Kongou: Hey how you doing?

She then looks at the two of you hugging each other.

Kongou: Oh so that's what's happening. You already have a relationship like that. I'm jealous.

" (Dang it Kongou!)"

You look at Fubuki.

" Fubuki are you o-."

Fubuki: Noooo!
