A Day at the Warehouse

Chapter Two

It's finally Tuesday, and I'm currently at school. I've been wanting to turn my ringer on so I can hear if I got an Instagram notification. I know that if I do turn on my ringer I'll get in trouble so I've been trying to check it as much as possible. I haven't gotten anything on my fan account or my regular account.
      I'm in my last class of the day and I'm pretty sure I got a notification from Instagram, but my mind could be going crazy. I want to check it so bad, but I'll get in trouble if I do. Ugh why does this school have to be so strict?
      When the final bell rings I race to my car to check my phone. When I grab my phone I take a second to think if I want to find out now or when I'm with someone. I decide I want to be with my mom when I find out, because she's been supporting me for the past three days.
      "Mom! I got a notification from Instagram! We should see together if it's the one I've been waiting for since Saturday!" I exclaim as I run into the house.
      We gather at the island in the kitchen. My mom waits anxiously as I pull my phone out of my pocket.
      "Just remember that if this isn't what you wanted then you tried and that's all that matters," Mom reminds me.
      "I know mom." I reply.
      I unlock my phone and go right to Instagram. There's nothing on my main account so I go to my fan account. I see that I have a notification and it's not the normal likes. I quickly get to my direct messages and see that someone requested to message me.
      I look over to my mom for confirmation. She smiles letting me know that I can go ahead and click on it. When I do I see that it's from the Dolan Twin account I click on it and read.
      "Congratulations Evelyn you have been chosen to spend a day with us at the Dolan Twin warehouse. You will be leaving Thursday, January 24. Pack enough clothes for three days and an extra set of clothes.
      "You and your Parent or Guardian's flight and hotel are paid by the Episode app. All you need to do is sit back and relax. Thank you for entering we can't wait to meet you!
      "PEACE!" I read aloud.
      My mom pulls me into a strong hug as I start crying joyful tears. I've been waiting 3 years to meet Ethan and Grayson, and it's finally happening!
      "We leave on Thursday!" I exclaim, "That's in TWO DAYS!"
       "I'll have to take you shopping so you can find something to wear when you meet them!" Mom tells me.
      We get in the car and go to the mall to start shopping. My mom told me that tomorrow she's going to take me to get my nails done and maybe even let m dye my hair.
      As we're in the mall she decides to let me get my nails and hair done. I get a light lavender color for my nails. I got the under half of my hair dyed so I can easily hide it at school if I wanted. I chose a darker purple for my hair.
