I was finally done getting ready and made sure to put on my contacts to hide my different colored eyes which were Burgundy. When I went down stairs I saw my mom making her famous chocolate chip waffles I sat down at the table with my backpack when she put the waffles down I ate it fast cause there just so good. When I finished I put it in the sink "(y/n) don't forget your cheer uniform and be careful cause Zombies are starting to go to SeaBrook " mom said if your wondering my mom is head of the city council she and other members decided to let Zombies go to school.
" yes mom and I'm gonna be getting home a little late because of cheerleading tryouts " I said while grabbing my backpack and putting my uniform in it then making my way to the door when I turned around to look at her she was on the phone and gave me a thumbs up . I opened the front door making my way to my best friend Addison house which is so easy since we are neighbors when I was about to knock on the door. I saw my best friend and like always We did are hand shake we walked down her lawn but I can tell she was very happy so I told her I will skip the weird dancing and singing and meet her at school.
I got to school in 16 minutes and waiting for Addison and I forgot to mention my boyfriend name is Bucky he's sweet and over protective. He's the captain of the cheerleading team and I'm co-captain by his side. I saw them in front of the school beach and of course my Bucky doing his amazing flips that he always does making his way over with a crowd of students dancing again and singing but as soon as the bell rang they started heading to class . I made my way towards Bucky giving me a hug and I gladly hugged him back
" hey ( y/n) where's the jacket I gave you" he said while looking down at me since I'm a little on the short side and the jacket he was talking about was a extra one of his with his name on it to know other guys won't bother me.
" it's a hot day today Bucky I don't think I will last today in it " I told him then kissed his cheek softly he pulled away taking off his jacket putting it over my shoulders
" I just don't want any other guys looking at you so they know your my girlfriend " he told me then hugged me tightly then let go and looked at the other side of the gate making a ugly face at a tall zombie the zombie at the other side slammed into the gate with a big smile Bucky got scared the another second he tried to look like nothing happened then grabbed my waist pulling me to him walking into school I looked back at the Zombies side of the gate with a smile and waved at the guy with a smile.
Me and Bucky also with Addison next to us then behind us is acey group which have very similar names it weird Lacy , Tracey and Stacy. We were walking up the stairs
" Can't let these monsters change this town cuzs eww" Bucky said while I just rolled my eyes with his over dramatic self he signed someone's picture every person that wanted a signature
"There just going to school like us " Addison said she is so positive in a good way .
" Like us people love me okay I got jazz hands and a cute girlfriend those freaks are nothing like us. They tried to eat our grandfather" Bucky said raising his voice on that freak part made me feel bad because of me and Addison umm condition. Bucky turned to Addison.
" It was just a small bite " Addison said with a low voice
" cheer tryouts are today after school everybody LETS GO MIGHTY SHRIMP" Bucky yelled out he turned to me with him hugging me close to him smiling " and I will see you during class " Bucky said giving me a quick kiss pulled his lips back and whispered in my ear " you wore the cherry lip bomb I love so much " he said with a smile I could already tell I was blushing cause of the comment and we were around people when he turned a girl yelled next to Bucky " let's go bottom feeders wait you know shrimp eat the wave of the ocean at the bottom..." she said then turned to look at me and Addison
" Hi I'm Bree I've always dreamed to be on cheer squad cause I always dreamed of being a flyer tossed high in the sky " Bree said looking up then looking at us with a really cheerful look that kind made me think if she had to much coffee
" Hi Nice to meet you I'm Addison and this is my friend (y/n) .We love cheer too did you know that creator of the wave"she said then they both said together smiling really hard
" was from SeaBrook " kinda weird they know that then Bree started talking really fast when we walked to class that we have together when we sat down at a desk near each other when the bell rang the teacher still wasn't here yet so the class was talking then when I was gonna introduce myself to Bree the sound of Z alert went off blaring loudly Bree starting freaking out we walked calmly well me and Addison walked with us dragging Bree to a zombie safe room
" okay Bree I know this is scary but we need to stay calm there is a zombie safe room right there then we will be safe " I said as calmly I can to Bree she looked behind me and Addison screaming running the other way Addison looked at me. " did I say something that set her off " I told Addison she looked at me
" no I think she's freaked out I'll get her just go inside then we will met you there " she said while running the other way towards the way Bree went .I turned to the zombie safe room but then tall guys were running in the hallway I just walked inside the room it was so dark with a dim light
I heard a slam in the back of the room. " Hello anyone here " I said please don't be a serial killer I thought in my head
" hello " It was a guys voice
" hello are you going to come out" I said to him hopefully in the right direction.
" Well hello " he tried to say in a cool voice I just rolled my eyes
" Don't get any ideas buster the only thing deadly about my high kick is my fist " I said starting to get irritated maybe I was better waiting in the hallway I thought
" I'm sorry this was just not what I was not expecting at my first day at a school to be " he said . Now I was starting to feel bad cause this was his first day at a school.
" you were not expecting to be stuck inside a zombie safe room" I told him as a joke to lighten up the spirt.
"Oh no that I expected happens to me all time so of my thang .So I'm not gonna get punched in the face"he said I think In a hopeful voice at the end
"your okay for now but if you try anything then you are still gonna get punched in the face " I said joking a little bit we walked towards each other step by step in the dark
" Good today is a big day I'm trying out for the football team " he told me stopping behind a shelf
" That's great maybe you could led seabrook into winning this year " i said trying to help him cheer up .
" My dad doesn't even think I'm gonna make the team " the mysterious guy said well that is just sad who would tell there kid that .
" what no you will maybe you just need some one to cheer for you .Cause that's what I do I'm the co-cheerleader for the squad" I told him before we knew it we were face to face but I still couldn't see his face yet
" My name is Zed can I know yours please " zed said looking down at me he looked almost the same height of Bucky just a little taller.
