A contest? There are no contests in RayneWood.
At least, there hasn't been for quite some time. We are not much of a jolly or celebratory folk. Just farmers, fisherman, and dreary gray children.
My mother, however, is probably the most lively and colorful in this town. Which is why she sent me to go sign up for this redundant contest.
"It will be grand, Nache! Give it a go! You might win something special!", she begged me.
"Mother, I don't wish to enter this contest. I don't think I have the capability. I may be strong, but I am not mentally prepared!", I stated back.
That's how our conversation went. But, she eventually convinced me to go to Town Hall and sign up for this silly contest.
"Evening, Brother. I am Mina-Guard Lottie. Are you here to enter The Minataro contest?"
Sighing, I nodded. I wasn't looking forward to it, but it will make my mother happy.
"Excellent! Here is your administration paper and contract. By signing this, you agree to carry out any order we wish for you to do. Is that okay?", Mina-Guard Lottie asks.
I nod once more, glancing over it.
...Depression, anxiety, might not be suitable for the faint of heart...
I ignore it. How bad can this stupid contest be, after all?
