Four years later~
Me and Joe bought a house together about three years ago and both had jobs within 20 minutes away from each other, sometimes Joe would even surprise me with a nice lunch.
Eventually I moved in my job up to a supervisor so, I moved into my very own new office.
One time though I got so paranoid about Josh coming to get me that now me and my assistant have a code.
When I cross my fingers that means that something is wrong and she should call Joe as fast as she can.
A couple of months after that I realized what day it was, it was the day that Josh got out of probation which meant that he could easily find me.
That day I went home early because I was having extremely bad anxiety about it but, Joe helped me through it after he left early.
About a week later it was a normal day at work until I heard someone recklessly coming down the hallway so, I got up to go see who it was.
The instant I saw him I started panicking and ran for my phone but, I couldn't find it in time.
