Brendon pov
'once the time has come, you will see a man or woman with a tattoo on the back of they're hand. And that person, is your soulmate.'
My mother always told me about soulmate tattoos. These were tattoos (located on the back of your soulmates hand) symbolizing something you loved unconditionally.
And today, happens to be the day i finally meet my soulmate.
I feel scared. I'm scared that maybe they might not show up. or they might be a crazy cerial killer. Who knows.
I check the time on my phone.
5:25 P.M
My hands start to shake. Small amounts of Sweat starts pouring down my face. I quickly wipe my face, and fix my hair before i go.
A minute later, i'm ready to go. To go see my soulmate.
I grab some tissues, a 20 dollar bill, some cologne and my phone. I run downstairs to my mom.
'you ready sweetie?' My mom says.
'Ready as i'll ever be'
She hug's me tightly. I hug her back. Once we pull away from the hug, i see she's building up tears in her eyes.
'I'm so excited & Happy for you brendon. Your finally seeing your soulmate.' She replies, full on crying.
I just smile at her, and hug her even more.
We separate, and she proceeds to grab the car keys as we head to our minivan.
20 minutes later, we arrive at a nice restaurant.
'Well, there's no turning back now.' I say.
'There definitely isn't.'
I walk into the restaraunt. I go to look for this person, but i can't seem to find someone with a music note on their hand.
I decide to get a table and wait for this mystery person.
5 minutes
They still aren't here. Maybe they're stuck in traffic? Or maybe they forgot to turn off they're oven?
10 minutes
Why am i even waiting for someone who i don't know?
20 minutes
what if they'll never come here? Maybe i should just leave.
30 minutes
You know what? I should just leave. All this is just stupid. "Soulmates" and crap like that. Why did i even believe this.
I sit up from my table, heading towards the door. As i'm walking, someone stops me. A boy. I stop walking, and I turn around.
I look at this boy's features.
He's little bit taller than me, his hair, curly, and a mess just like my own. His eyes, brown as chocolate.
I then grab his hand and look at the back of it. I see a music note
This is him. Its my soulmate.
I grab his hand, it's soft and clammy from nervousness.
I bring my soulmate to the table i sat 30 minutes ago.
He sits down on the seat across me.
We stay quiet for a minute, the silence awkward. I decide to break the silence.
'Hey'
'Hi' the boy replies. His voice is soft, and incredibly calming.
'uh, what's your name?'
'Ryan. Ross. You?'
'Brendon. Brendon Urie.'
'Your cute' Ryan says.
I feel my cheeks start to heat up.
'You too.'
'so, how old are you?' I ask ryan.
'Nineteen. You?'
'Eighteen.'
'Cool so we're both technically adults.' I joke.
'Heh, yeah.' He laughs. Oh my god this boy's laugh is addicting.
I start to learn more about this boy. He's really interesting to talk to. I could just talk to him forever.
We stay in the restaurant, talking for hours and hours on end, without even ordering anything.
But we didn't care. All that mattered in those hours were just the two of us.
His chocolate brown eyes look into mine.
His hand goes to grab mine. My heart starts to beat as fast as it can.
His hand is soft, his fingers slender. It fits in mine perfectly.
This moment is just perfect. He is perfect.
I think i love him already.
